    Opal Sands Resort allows two dogs under 30 lbs for an additional fee of $75 per pet, per night, plus a $200 refundable deposit. Guests with dogs are assigned to rooms on the 3rd or 4th floor. Well-Behaved dogs may be left unattended in the room. Dog treats, beds, bowls, and waste bags are available at the front desk, and there is a grassy area on the property for pet relief. Sorry, cats are not permitted. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

      Great hotel but not a good beach

      The hotel was beautiful with great views and service but the area it is located in is not dog friendly. The beach does not allow dogs and barely any restaurants allow pets to even be in their outdoor sitting areas. The hotel might be dog friendly but the neighborhood is not.

      Great rooms and staff!

      The staff was very helpful with getting Hugo sorted out with a bowl for food and water. The rooms are perfect to leave a dog, and people were very kind through the lobby and in the public spaces. Getting somewhere to potty was easy and convenient as well.

      Nothing but a Lavishly Good Time!

      Water bowl, pet blanky and all kinds of goodies for my boy! Loved it!!! People and dogs alike ♥️♥️♥️
