With buildings dating back to 1820 Ramside Hall Hotel Golf and Spa is an upscale property located on a 220-acre estate approximately two miles from Durham and about 15 miles from the Tesside airport. The estate's rolling grounds are home to a 27-hole golf course and 14 picturesque lakes. The Ramside Golf Course comprises three loops of nine holes and is known as one of the best courses in the North-East of England. You can even enjoy a bacon and egg buttie halfway round the course. The Ramside Golf Clubhouse has locker rooms with massage chairs, a steam room, and sauna. Make use of the driving range and computerized indoor golf simulator, the golf shop, and the billiards room. The conservatory overlooks the 27th green and has a well-stocked bar and relaxing lounge area. Ramside Hall Hotel Golf and Spa has extensive conference and meeting facilities, has ample free parking and is an ideal location for visiting Durham Cathedral, Durham Castle, Durham University, Newcastle, and more. A restaurant overlooks the garden and fountain and serves a traditional English menu. Pemberton's Carvery Rotisserie offers contemporary cuisine in an elegant dining atmosphere. For added convenience, this hotel offers babysitting, currency exchange, laundry services, and medical services. There are 80 individually decorated rooms at this hotel. Non-smoking rooms and rooms equipped for the physically challenged are available upon request.
