    Not the best

The location is good, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room is very small, beds are small and the bathroom was very small. You have to use the Hotel Tybee dog walking area, which is close. There is a small strip of grass between the parking lot and sidewalk you could use but there are small sharp seed pod type things that are all over that area. Our room was $217 which included a $25 pet fee.

    Okay

Clean enough, no breakfast as advertised. A place to walk your dog across the street. Tybee Island is a cool little place, but no dogs allowed on the beach isn't fun!

    Close to beach

Was good for pets, close to beach, tidy and clean.

    No dogs on beach

Friendly staff, nice and plenty of towels. The mattress was a tad noisy, and the floor was not level in some areas. All in all, would stay there again if in the area.

Location! Location! Location. Walking distance from the beach and great food. Hotel room clean. My pet was very welcomed!

Booking based on reviews was a mistake

Rooms felt like a rent by the hour stay, we didn’t want to walk around barefoot. The TV only had volume on select channels, the AC didn’t work, no plugs on either nightstand, bulkhead running through the shower, you’ll be ducking if you’re over 5’11”. The photos are very deceiving, as the filth was just painted over. I don’t typically leave reviews, but this one was a must. It was rough 😕

    Little pricey

Rooms were clean but did not expect to pay $140 BEFORE the $25 pet fee for an sparsely furnished room and in older hotel. Room was 2 block walk to the beach...not a problem as we were heading home & only staying one night plus was located across the street from a great seafood dog friendly restaurant (Stingrays) with outstanding shrimp!!

    Sandcastle Inn

Older but nice clean rooms. Plenty of area to walk the dog. There was 1 hotel between here and the beach. Stingray seafood is across the street. Outdoor seating to take the dog. Excellent food.

    Great!

The room itself is good, very nice floors and beds. Clover is a great swimmer so my mother brought her over to the pool while I was swimming. Clover got in and all the kids (and some adults) were infatuated with the swimming dog. Now, this is completely my fault for not reading the sign: an employee came over and very discreetly signaled that Clover was not allowed. Being that I have anxiety and depression, I was very grateful he didn’t do it loudly or blatantly. All in all, I was very happy with how they handled us, especially after we broke a rule. The rooms are all in all quiet, and that helped both me and Clover feel safe and secure.
