      Needs some TLC

      The hotel is nice but needs some rejuvenation. Everything looking old and worn, and I had to switch rooms bc no hot water. So I had to pack up 8 days worth of clothing and move it up 2 floors by myself. They have no valets or doorman, so be prepared to unload your own car and take your things to your room. There were 2 luggage carts but they are small and I had to make 2 trips. This hotel would be fine if only staying a day or 2.

      Super friendly

      The rooms were clean and spacious. It would've been nice to have more doggie green space nearby, but the desk staff were great about directing us to a park where our two doggies could really stretch their legs and sniff cool stuff.

      Nice Surprise

      I can tell you from other stays at different Homewood Suites that not all keep up the same standards. This was a great experience! Staff was very nice and helpful. Clean and spacious room. Breakfast offerings were great. Social Wednesday evening event was very nice as well. Convenient garage self parking. Felt safe using elevator that no one else will know where you are headed before you get on/off. Convenient post office in building as well and connected to Hampton Inn at same location giving another entry/exit access point for when walking pups. Close to state capitol building and museums. No grassy area nearby… closest about 2 blocks away but would still stay here in the future if they maintain the same level of cleanliness and offerings.
