Hotel Palazzo Dal Borgo is converted from a 15th century building which is preserved as an historic monument. Frescoes and high vaulted ceilings mark the architectural value of the building. A unique feature of the hotel is the complimentary lecture on the art and history of Florence presented on three evenings a week by a professor of the University of Florence, which is held in the frescoed breakfast room.
