Mercersburg Inn welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay. Only the Carriage House South Room and Carriage House North Room allow pets. Both dogs and cats are accepted, but pets may not be left in the room unattended. A pet amenity package consisting of toys, bowls, mats, and waste bags is available for an additional fee of $25. There are grassy pet relief areas on the property.

The decorative tile, oak flooring, double-curving wrought-iron balustrades, scagliola columns, and the mahogany and chestnut paneling are all original to the house. The 17 rooms in the Main House and Carriage House include 4 different types of rooms ranging from standard to extravagant. All have private baths, luxurious linens, bathrobes, and custom bath accessories. Mercersburg Inn also provides wireless Internet access.
