This is a very dog friendly place. My only complaint is it offers a wag bag for the Pup but when I asked at reception she said they did not offer that. There were three people at reception and no one offered an explanation when I said that was one of the perks listed on the website for Carter Creek.

Other guests treated Rosie like royalty and the waitresses at the brewery, but checking in at the front desk she was not acknowledged.

Newer facility that is very nicely appointed. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant and advertised brew pub not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Some if not all rooms subject to highway noise. Not conducive for light sleepers or nervous pups.

Carter Creek Winery is the best place to stay. They have a winery, a brewery, a restaurant, luxury suites, pool, exercise room, live music on weekends. Room rates vary from $200+ during the week to $300+ on weekends. 🍷🍺🥘🏨🐶

The place is great if you are traveling with your dog. They have green areas in between the units for dogs. Large patio at the restaurant/brewery/winery so you can keep your dog with you. Best was as soon we checked in they brought us a pup bag with bowls, bandanna, blanket, baggies, and treats to our room. We hadn’t even unloaded the car.
