We live just down the road and work on the property in our spare time. We and our team handle the maintenance and management with as little interruption to guests as possible. Routine outdoor maintenance for the 40 acre property is typically scheduled after 10am for lawn, pond, hot tub, firewood, etc. Hot tub maintenance is communicated with guests in advance. .
We are in a rural location with plenty of space between neighbors. Even with space, sound can travel. We ask that you be considerate especially after 10pm. While the barn is set back from the road by over 300ft, you can still hear some light traffic noise from the front porch occasionally. Across the driveway is a separate short term rental, Evergreen Retreat, another amazing property from Gatheryng. The only shared amenities are the sport court, the fishing dock behind the sports court, and the trash cans by the driveway.
Private drive and parking for up to 15 vehicles. Separate from the adjacent property (Evergreen Retreat); only sport court, fishing dock, and trash bins are shared.
- 3-level, 3,100 sq ft restored 1840’s barn with rustic beams and modern comfort—perfect for large gatherings.
- 4 bedrooms • with mix of king- sleep 2 each, and twins, sleep 1 each, plus 2 rollaways, and two twin trundles (5th full bath coming Nov 2025).
- Step-free entry and main-level bedroom/bath with grab bars; The organically treated pond, floating dock in the pond, kayak, fishing.

Simple, transparent pricing
Our rates are structured to make planning easy and straightforward. All standard stay-related fees including linens and basic supplies are built into the nightly rate so you can see your total cost up front.
Rates include up to 20 overnight guests for The Barn. Some booking platforms display “16+” as the highest option, so please share your total guest count when booking to help us keep accurate records. If your group exceeds 20 guests, please let us know in advance — additional guest or event fees may apply.
Pet fees and taxes are separate and shown during checkout.

Upcoming upgrades (after Nov 2025)
The Barn will include several exciting enhancements: a new hot tub, a large backyard patio with expanded dining, a full basement bathroom, new games in the recreation room, and an interior décor refresh.
EVENT & WEDDING NOTES
- Parking capacity: ~15 cars, if you need more parking you need to consider "Evergreen Acres" which includes this property and the adjacent home that has parking of 50 capacity.
- Best for small weddings / intimate gatherings due to parking.
- Event fee: $500–$1000.
- $10 per day-guest not staying overnight.
- $250 refundable deposit.
- Guest handles food, drinks, tents, chairs, rentals.
- Please confirm your total guest count (including any day guests) and plans for setup, so we can provide the appropriate event fees and help plan for parking.
