  Clean and accommodating

  Clean standard motel that accommodated our pet nicely for an overnight stop. Tile floors (for cleaning) so you’re not exposed to issues from other dogs. It had direct outdoor access to parking lot and some spots for grass. The staff was nice and the beds were fresh and comfortable.

  I like to start out with a positive so I will compliment the friendliness and efficiency of the young lady who checked us in. But that didn’t make up for all that was wrong with this place. It is an old fashioned strip hotel for starters. It was described as updated, but a new floor and some stone countertops in the bathroom could not hide how beat up the place was. It was also very noisy, right next to the Interstate.

  Our misery in being there was topped off at 4:30 AM when we were woken up by a full blown domestic going on in the room above us. Just as we thought maybe we should call the police, the female involved opened their door and with one final f-bomb kicked the guy involved down the stairs which were right in front of our doorway. As far as being pet friendly, there wasn’t a good spot anywhere near the place for our boy to poop. I wouldn’t give this place a one bone rating, except in order to submit this review I had to.

  Good spot for Spot

  We had an end room for our pups and that was a bonus. The room was very clean and we crate our pups at night and we had enough room for two crates as well. They gave us some dog bones for our girls as well. The gals at the front desk, Karen and Megan, were super nice.

  Great location!

  Friendly staff, clean room, well-lit grass area for pet relief. Good continental breakfast. Perfect location from interstate (for our travel) with plenty of restaurants close.

  Good for a quick overnight stay

  This definitely falls more under the motel category. The staff was polite, room was outdated and our bathroom sink was backed up but it was fine for the quick stop for our pooch. We will probably stay here again as needed.

  Close to highway and clean!

  The hotel was clean, and each room has a door outside which makes it convenient to take your dog out. Staff were nice and there are restaurants really close.

  This is a motel like facility with outside doors in each room and two floors. Our room showed a bit of age but was very clean. Note: none of the hotels accessible rooms are pet friendly. Very convenient location off of I-65.

  Nice hotel

  Perfect for the pooch. No carpeting, tiled or linoleum flooring. Clean. Good breakfast and location from interstate was a plus. Several restaurants close by.

  Very dog friendly. Clean and updated, unlike so many pet rooms at other hotels in this price range. The breakfast was awesome also.

  Great for an overnight stay

  We needed to spend a night on the way to Dauphin Island. Great proximity to the highway. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was dated on the outside but inside was fairly modern. Small grassy area for pets and the street beyond the hotel was nice for a walk. Josh at the front desk was very helpful. Would return.

  Hotel is OK

  This hotel is not as nice as many I’ve stayed in, but adequate. It appears to be an upgraded old hotel, with the room doors opening directly to the outside. Handy for traveling with a dog. Clean, but tired - scrapes and scuffs on doors, just needs work. Staff very pleasant, stayed during COVID-19 and they were taking it very seriously.

  Very dog friendly

  I found this hotel one of the best my dog and I have stayed at. The floors are laminate do there’s no odor. The door goes right outside where I was able to quickly bring Axel out. Staff was great. It was quiet with comfy bed and pillows. I definitely recommend.
