Your quintessential ocean and beachfront vacation starts here! Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the amazing Gulf water and beach views in this functional not fancy 6 bedroom Surfside Beach getaway! With accommodations for groups of up to 16 humans and 2 pups, this beachside home offers plenty of room to roam and a huge deck connected right to your own private pier walkover onto the beautiful sand and surf! It's ALL about the BEACH!
The Space:
SLEEPING/BATH CONFIGURATION:
~ Primary: King (& sleeper chair, if needed) w/ en suite full bath (shower only, no tub) - upper level with deck access and Gulf views
~ 2nd Bedroom : Full over Full bunk - main level
~ 3rd Bedroom: Queen bed - main level
~ 2nd Bath: double bowl vanity sink and tub/shower combo in hall - main level
~ 4th Bedroom: Queen & Twin over Twin bunk - upper level with deck access and Gulf views

RO DRINKING WATER system installed, 2 refrigerators (plenty of room for your groceries), large dining table, 2 x TVs, ceiling fans, central A/C, games, washer & dryer, charcoal grill, private walkover pier, outdoor shower/rinse off, double decks overlooking ocean water and beach galore
Guest Access:
EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.
The Neighborhood:
🏝️ We (The 979 Crew) love our sleepy Surfside Beach community with plenty of sand and surf to enjoy! No touristy chain restaurants, shops or hotels. Just chillin' beach bar and grills, food (and beverage) trucks (like Surfin Rita Daiquiris To-Go), burger joints (like Pier 30 and Sharkies on the Beach) and tasty fresh seafood options (like Seahorse Bar & Grill and Beachfront Deck Bar & Grill) line the water. Surfside is your simple relaxing sandy beach, water sporting, surfing, fishing and crabbing vacation destination.
Getting Around:
Surfside Beach is located around an 1 hr drive to Houston on Texas Highway 288 depending on traffic. For out-of-town visitors, Houston Hobby Airport is within easy driving distance offering many carriers making air travel reasonable and convenient Just rent a car and enjoy the drive down!

The 979 Crew is comprised of island locals who are passionate about making sure the home you chose is nothing short of clean, comfortable, and ready for your group's fun! Every home is fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels which are replaced upon every turnover including the duvet covers and shams (we've heard not every company does this, and we think that's just gross). We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!
🐾 PUP-FRIENDLY:
Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.
WIFI/TV SERVICE:
Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.
After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.

*NOTE: Absolutely No Prom, Graduation or other large (more than the max occupancy) parties/events permitted. Max # house sleeps (occupancy) = max # of Guests allowed on property at any time. Thank you.
