Room/hotel was on par for what I'd consider a normal La Quinta experience. My two grievances are: The hotel charges you a fee for your dog and requires you to fill out paperwork stating that you'll be a responsible pet owner during your stay. Why is there dog feces in every green area around the hotel? Piles everywhere. Irresponsible pet owners are the cause, but why isn't the hotel keeping up with this maintenance need?
Secondly, why would they put pet owners on the 2nd floor, in middle of the hotel. Seems very inconvenient to put people who are making multiple trips due to their pets, on something other than the first floor. There was plenty of room at the hotel based on occupancy (I did check with staff). I paid the extra "pet fee" so what is this going towards? It's a bit ridiculous to get all the warnings and pay all the fees, only to have to navigate around all of these fails/messes.

The front desk seemed annoyed that we had a pet and didn’t even acknowledge our dog. We were put in what I assume was their worst room on the first floor. It was fairly clean but the bathtub knob was broken and the tub didn’t drain well. There was a small muddy area in the back to walk your dog but that’s the only pet-friendly thing you will see.

The clerk we dealt with was not particularly helpful. Rooms were OK, nothing over the top. Area behind building for dogs had a lot of poop. I know that is dog owners fault, but area should be cleaned up periodically by hotel. We walked across the street around the office buildings.

There’s a great vibe at this property with friendly staff, happy guests, and all the best amenities. The only drawback was a limited area to walk the dogs outside the hotel, but there are other grassy areas nearby. It’s in a busy location with other hotels and businesses, but to find a dog-friendly restaurant you’ll need to drive. We enjoyed Schlotzsky’s and Shogun, as well as takeout from nearby Chuy’s. Breakfast was terrific with choices of creamers for coffee and other nice extras.

The room was clean and very comfortable. I brought my three dogs and had no trouble at all. The check in clerk was excellent as was the cleaning staff! Very pleasant stay and very reasonable!

The hotel was clean and super dog friendly! They gave our dog a treat on arrival and allowed us to have a late check out! The general manager and all staff were very friendly and kind! Highly recommend this hotel!

This, as other LaQuinta’s we’ve stayed in has been refurbished & modernized inside- really nice & love that you can walk in with your dog & still feel as good as any other (higher end) hotel. Covid unfortunately has changed some things & conveniences, but with the little grocery area in the lobby & asking for other items you might need, it does make for an enjoyable experience!
