  Simply the Best

  Great location right beside gas station and Cracker Barrel. Friendly staff gave us a first floor room near an exit. Ample area to walk pets with bags and cans. The room was perfect! Large, well kept with awesome beds. There wasn’t a single thing I could have wished for!

  Room features were sort of dilapidated, and there was an odor on the floor we stayed. Given the price, there was a nice sized refrigerator and full kitchen in the studio room. Hair dryer was sticky and other parts of the room didn’t feel completely cleaned.

  This accommodation was perfect for our two Airedale terriers. There was an enclosed grassy area with chairs and tables. They could run around and play. No noise from the street or highways like a lot of the motels that take dogs.

  Everyone was so kind! Great place for your pup too! They have poop bags outside and a good area to walk your doggo. Cracker Barrel is in the parking lot, which is awesome. Better than expected! Thanks!

  Highly Recommend!

  I stayed here with my 2 big dogs and everything was great! They put us on the bottom floor which was convenient and the King Executive was a great size for me and the dogs. The room was clean, the staff was very nice and accommodating, free breakfast was a nice touch and the location was great. I stayed there for 4 nights and so having a fridge and microwave in the room was great!

  Good place for dogs

  La Quinta did everything right during my stay. The room was on the ground floor as requested, and the bed was very comfortable. There is an enclosed space by the pool for dogs to do their business... easy peasy!! I would stay at this property again.

  It was a bed for the night. Suite was poorly cleaned and in need of repair. No problems with the pup, but we would not stay again.

  Great Hotel

  The room had hardwood floor which made it easy to clean if the pups had an accident. Also hotel has doggie bag stations around the exterior of the hotel. The rooms were also very nice and spacious, I was able to find a perfect spot for my dogs' crate.

  Hardened poop stains from previous pets on carpet. Not clean at all. Bottle caps on floor from beer from previous guests along with chip crumbs on floor and spills on comforter and bed skirt. Grossest place I've ever stayed. My dog was sniffing all over the carpet looking for a place to go because the floor was so unclean and thought it was a restroom area.

  Believe the Hype!

  Where do I begin! Front desk was very polite and courteous and made check in with 2 dogs a breeze. The hotel itself was nice, near a lot of things to do and places to eat! The room itself was very clean! Nice sheets, big room for 2 people and 2 dogs and a king bed. Overall a 5 star 2 star hotel! I'm definitely coming here again for the value, clean updated/modern rooms, and excellent customer service!

  The best thing is the nice gray plank flooring so no worries about pet accidents. We had a chaise lounge couch in one room and a king bed in the other. Very comfortable. The air and heat were not able to be controlled at all.

  Place was not very clean, room was ok but common areas were not clean. No designated dog area, we did find a spot with lots of poop and no bags, all gravel. Pillows were horrible. They did have coffee and breakfast bags available.

  3 times staying and the best

  This 3rd time was the best. Every time I stay the rooms are clean, beautifully decorated after the remodel. The front desk folks are great! Cassandra checked me in on a night when Phoenix was 100 degrees at 10:00pm! She even helped bring my bags into the room. I was so hot and tired it was such a nice thing to do. Nothing to dislike at all about my visits.

  Do Not Get Room #125

  I booked this room based on other people's reviews of the hotel. Our experience started out a bit messy, but worked itself out. Upon entering our room (#125), the smell of pet urine was terrible and the AC was not working (it was still 100 degrees outside at 10 p.m.) After explaining the issues to the lovely front desk clerk, she quickly moved us to another room. Success. The AC was already on and the room was nice and cooled down. I told the front desk clerk, the only way to get rid of the smell in room #125 would be to rip out the carpet. There were two small grassy areas at the front entrance of the hotel for the pups to do their business.

  This stay was not typical for La Quinat

  The bath tub had a black ring around it, the bottom of the tub had a 2 inch by 4 inch section of the surface missing. The back of the toilet seat, where it bolts down to the bowl had caked up yellow residue around the edge of the bolt mounts where boys/men or drunks peeing missed the entire bowl and hit the back, but it had not been cleaned for quite some time since it was caked up. Looked like a toilet from a gas station that rarely gets cleaned. The bed was fine and provided a good night of sleep, but for $119, I expected much more.

  Great place for dog folks!

  Main floor single room with one king was perfect for us and our two Australian shepherds. Love the no carpet (just in case) laminate flooring and the microwave/coffee maker/mini fridge cabinet is a really nice touch along with the closet. An extra chair makes the desk double as a small dining table and we even had a sweet recliner. Power outlets on both nightstands (such a bigger deal than it seems) and a great bathroom. Dog relief area is kinda small but more than adequate, especially for a one night stay.

  Front desk staff very helpful, friendly, and obviously dog loving. They even have a couple extra deep RV parking spots. For the money I would highly recommend this place.

  The hotel is conveniently located next to I-10. The recently remodeled rooms and lobby are both fresh and esthetically pleasing. Ground floor pet-friendly rooms have easy access to the outdoors through several exits. The one pet waste station is located on the south east side of the parking lot. There are grassy areas on either side of the main lobby entrance. My only gripe is with inconsiderate pet owners who do not pick up after their dogs. The hotel is nice enough to not charge a pet fee. Don't ruin it by not cleaning up after your pet.

  Was right off the highway so made it easy to stop. Got the Kings room deluxe which was extremely nice for the price. No pet fee was a huge plus as well.

  Nice place and great location

  I gave it 4 bones - we checked in and went to our room and people were in there. I went to the lobby to tell them and she gave us the wrong key room number. Correction and on to the next room, walk-in and bedding was on the floor and room not cleaned. Back to the lobby to let them know. They had the room marked clean but it wasn’t. We got an upgrade to a nicer and bigger room at no charge. Simple mistake but two mistakes. The place was very clean and in a nice area

  Room and area was pretty clean! My only complaints were that the shower was pretty gross (looked like water damage and also had hair/grime in the bottom) and I didn't feel super secure being on the first floor with my daughter. It was just us traveling alone with our dog so overall they made our stay pleasant enough for the night!

  This hotel is relatively new, clean throughout. Pet friendly rooms were on first floor with easy access to exterior door. Pet area was mostly sandy/rocky with a small amount of grass in the front.

  A little gross

  The lobby looks great. However, my room had a broken light switch, pink bacteria scuzz in the bathtub, and the shower water smelled like either rust or sulphur. Also no cold water; the cold tap started tepid and then for warm. My dogs wouldn’t drink it, so I relied on bottled water.

  Doggy’s first hotel experience

  Paul at the front desk was great! The hotel had a few rocky areas and waste stations. We appreciated getting a room on the first floor and it was very dog friendly (no carpet). We would definitely stay here again.

  The hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. It was in a good easy on/easy off area. Only downside was there wasn’t a lot of shaded greenery for the dogs to go potty. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

  This is a good hotel. We stayed here on our trip out west. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me and my 150lbs mastiff. The free breakfast was a plus. I would stay here again.

  No pet fee is a huge plus! The rooms are super nice and spacious. Dog areas are rock, which can be a hit or miss depending on your pet. Breakfast for humans was very yummy too!

  Good Location and Helpful Staff

  I made a reservation for this hotel on my desired date and upon arrival I was told it was for next day according to their system . After I showed them my reservation confirmation I booked on my app they were more than accommodating in getting me a room even though they were ‘sold,out’ for the night. I got a room on first floor which was nice with two big dogs and all their stiff especially since I was traveling alone. Green space is limited for dogs to,play but enough for them to do their business. Food locations near by. Great location and Helpful Staff.
