    Big Bear Lakefront Lodge welcomes one pet up to 30 lbs for an additional fee of $35 per night. Both dogs and cats are accepted. Dogs must be crated if left in the room unattended, and cats must be crated at all times. There are grassy areas with waste stations near the lake. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

    Description

    Big Bear Lakefront Lodge is located on the shores of Big Bear Lake and approximately 115 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. The lodge is one of Big Bear's only lakefront multi-room properties. This location is also one block from boat rentals and a boat launch. The property's amenities include the barbecue and picnic areas as well as fishing from the private shores or boat dock. All rooms feature cable TV, refrigerators, and fireplaces.

      Just ok

      No trails near the hotel. Had to drive and park to each place. Some of the trails require a pass, which is only good until 10am the next morning. Small sand area, but not much space for pets. Parking is VERY limited! Breakfast area is inside the office, which only has room for 2-3 ppl. This made it very hard to prepare toast, waffles. Etc with ppl trying to check out and get breakfast. Rooms were sufficient for pets. Make sure you ask for a lakeside view. Picnic area is limited and not functional to grill out. Resort says dogs can only be 30lbs.

      Love the room setup

      I’m only giving it 4 bones because of the parking. There’s wasn’t many parking spots and because of the snow, some people took up too much space because there were no markings. However, I truly enjoyed my stay. The pet friendly to rooms were large enough to play inside. The balconies were covered in turf so I could just open the door instead of having to walk him in the middle of the night (I have a senior dog). I greatly appreciated it since it was cold and there was lots of snow at the time. I also loved that it had its own mini fridge w/freezer (for his Small Batch duck patties) and had a kitchen sink to clean out his bowls. The rooms were also carpet free so it was easy to clean up his sloppy water drinking messes. Overall I had a great stay.
