It was okay. I mean it wasn't bursting with bugs or anything, but it definitely wasn’t the cleanest. They don’t have dog designated rooms so every room on every floor can be a dog room and all the rooms have carpet. There were burn marks in the blanket and bedding and hair in the bathtub and sink. The room smelled like it was not properly ventilated and moldy. They were also a lot of sketchy people hanging out in the stairwells of the hotel so I don’t think I will be staying here again.

Honestly, when I first got there I felt like it was gonna feel like a motel. But it was so nice and clean! And the staff was soooo nice and there was no pet fee! Def would book here.

The hotel is older but is well-maintained. Our room looked out to the pool and was VERY quiet - I was surprised at freeway noise when I opened the door in the morning. Our pooch enjoyed his visit thoroughly, exploring the grounds and visiting each of the three small but well-equipped pet stations. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Hard floor instead of carpet in a room for a pooch would have been nice - but this is a small quibble. Overall great!.

Super friendly staff. Quick check in and clean functional room. Minor issues were air unit just ran, no heat, no a/c just fan and it wouldn’t shut off. Just unplugged it. Even more minor were the reversed hot and cold lines on the sink. If La Quinta reads this maybe they will fix. Hotel is right off the 805 which was perfect for border access.
