The Anchor Beach Inn is a great location with beach walking with our dog and nearby to the Good Harvest Cafe (excellent) for people dinner. The room was spacious, very clean, comfy bed and linens, new bath towels. And a reasonable price made for happiness all around!

Right next to a great field next to the ocean beach. Room was clean but housekeeping failed to collect the underwear that hid behind the bathroom door. Heather at the desk was delightful and friendly.

A good inn. A large room for us and our fur buddy. Walking distance to local eateries and short drive to lighthouse/park/beach. Spectacular sunset too! Try SeaQuake for dinner and great beer!

The room was clean and quiet, and easy to take the dog out. The fee is only $15 for dogs.

The only downside with this inn was that they have one patch of grass on the property but it has a sign that says no pets are allowed on it. They expect you to walk across Rt 101 to let your dog do their business. The room was very nice and it’s a great location.

We planned this get away kind of last minute and this was the only place we could find that was dog friendly. We didn't have a bad experience, and you can tell the place has had a refresh, but the area in general felt a little sketchy. A couple of highlights--being walking distance to the beach and Schmidt's House of Jumbalaya. Great food!

The rooms are not kept up that well. There was paint either peeling off the walls, badly patched holes in the wall, or significant scuffs on most of the walls. The curtains were broken and they were missing several hooks so it sagged badly in the middle. The A/C worked well thankfully and the sheets and towels seemed clean. To their credit they did try hard to modernize the look of the room, it just a bit neglected in terms of the ambiance, so it just feels a bit sad overall. Customers should note that the hotel is adjacent to an RV park so some of the “views” out the windows look out onto it. Not what you expect exactly for ocean views. The breakfast is a standard continental breakfast that you can expect in any hotel at the level of a motel 6. Not bad but nothing particularly special. The price for this motel was quite a bit higher than that of other hotels in the area so we expected a bit more out of our experience.

This hotel is right next to the beach, which is great. It's also very close to a trail that runs all the way to the lighthouse, so you can walk to "downtown" Crescent City without having to walk along the highway.

Liked the wood or laminate flooring instead of carpet. Photos on website are somewhat deceiving as this motel needs some TLC. Night reception were nice and plenty of parking. Only $15 for your dog. My opinion is one night maximum.

First floor ocean view room was clean, comfortable and spacious! Access to very nice, dog friendly beach was less than a block away. The motel was at the highway end of a jetty separating the ocean from the harbor. Lots of seals and sea lions in the harbor.

The rooms are great but DO NOT try to request a 1st floor room. I am a repeat customer and twice now I have requested 1st floor rooms due to an old dog and my bad hip. The staff has not been flexible nor would listen to my polite request (and I have requested ahead of time). This last visit the front desk person ignored me. The outside could be cleaner ,a lot of trash around as well as in the stairwells. But, like I said the rooms are comfortable and dog friendly.

Wonderful place to stay! Our room was clean, checking in was easy, and you are literally right across the street from the beach. There is also a great restaurant with in walking distance (the best fried shrimp). You can watch the surfers while you walk your pups!

Anchor Beach Inn was a great place to stay in Crescent City. The room was much nicer than we expected for the price, we were right near the beach, and the front desk attendant was helpful and gave great recommendations for trails to go on. Would definitely recommend!

Check-in took about 20 minutes even though we called and confirmed ahead our exact arrival time. Long time to wait in the cold at 6:00pm. Room was nice and clean. Nice vinyl floors throughout except for the bathroom that had tile floors and some damage to the bottom of the door. The bathroom is also extremely small. There are very bright security lights in the parking area which shine into the bathroom windows which requires having the bathroom door closed all night which in turn means an icy cold bathroom in the morning. Also we had a very heavy walker upstairs that paced for several hours that night. The beach is very close and at this time of year was very oily. A nice patch of grass would have been helpful to get some of the black off of the dogs paws and our shoes. There was no place to eat within walking distance and very limited door dash delivery. Not expecting to go back.

We stayed here for one night and it was the cleanest room we have stayed in yet. The staff upgraded us to a room with a view for free! While they do not have a grassy area for the dogs, it is literally 100ft from the beach. My dogs loved going there instead! The beach was quite empty too. Also, there is a restaurant that you can walk to that allows dogs on the patio and has great food!

Facilities for Fido were great. Adjacent the motel is a long road leading out to the port facilities and with adjacent grass and beach for the pup to walk on. The seals in the harbor were an interesting feature of the walk. Room was nice and quiet, but we would advise asking or a room with south or southwest view. Looking west, you look over a large RV ghetto with long-term RV parking and lots of junk piled around the RVs. It really was quite an eye-sore. The pooch, however, loved it.

Very clean with nice people working the desk. Great location to beach for dogs. There is a trailer park right behind so try to get a room on the side so you don’t see it.

The Anchor Beach Inn was clean and simple.. nothing fancy. It is great for a one night stop while driving through Crescent City. The beach is around the back of the hotel and a great place for the dogs to run.
