Our room was nice, and was a mini suite with a separate sitting area. Our Luna loved the nearby walking areas around the hotel, like the Dana Point marina. My husband & I enjoyed a hot breakfast every morning. All in all, a good experience for Luna & us.
Nice area but limited greenery for the dog to relieve herself. The exhaust fan in the bathroom and the A/C vent could use some cleaning as well as a slight odor of dirty socks. The balcony was nice but the highway was noisy. Luckily, the sliding glass door cut the noise down to almost nothing. The staff was nice the breakfast was ok. I’d consider them again next time.
It's not easy helping guests – and their pets – to feel safe, comfortable and welcome at a hotel during Covid. But the team at Marina Shores did all that and more. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and respectful of social distancing and cleaning protocols. We loved our 3-night stay. Special tip: ask for one of the rooms with the extra large soaking tub! Divine :)
Clean, comfortable lodging, friendly staff, great location in Dana Point and reasonably priced — what more can you ask for? How about a tasty hot breakfast buffet included? We were very happy with our stay, and our dog was too!
