I was really disappointed! When I checked in they offered zero information (location of the elevator, closet parking to my assigned room, where the dog area was, breakfast hours, NOTHING). They did inform me I’d be charged a $150 deposit next time for booking through a third party. The room was adequate, super stained carpet with a couple of holes (obviously a room for people with dogs). I’ve stayed in other dog friendly places where they gave you a dog bed and water bowl, and the room was lovely. This place couldn’t be bothered to give you basic information. I will not go back.

This hotel was centrally located for our travels in the Bay Area. I just think La Quinta pet policies, price, and breakfast are hard to beat. This hotel has shown wear, but with two big dogs I think the price value for my ability to take by beloved dogs is unbeatable. Plus, you get a little breakfast!

There were plenty of grassy areas to walk the dogs. The free breakfast was a bag containing a bottle of water, muffin, granola bar and Nutrigrain bar. Coffee, juice, apples and yogurt were available. The dog in the room next to us barked every time we left or entered our room.

We had a nice stay at La Quinta. However, the rooms on the freeway side are very noisy. Luckily the person at the front desk helped us out by getting us another room on the other side of the hotel building. Thanks!

After a 9 hour drive, I was expecting a nice relaxing evening. It turns out this hotel had a stench of marijuana, people were smoking pot outside the parking lot, inside had the odor as well. The room we were given, had the same odor, the tv didn't work, the door handle came apart, in consideration we were given another room that was better, but it was right against the freeway.

We were a late arrival after 1 am and the desk assistance was great at checking us in. Very friendly and helpful so we appreciated that after a long drive. Our room was on the first floor (loved this) and close to the outside door access. The rooms were clean and comfortable for what we needed. The room was actually pretty big (two doubles) and fit our needs well. We marked down one bone because there was no refrigerator in the room (needed for chicken for our dog who gets car sick) and because the shower leaked (even when turned off it still leaked) and there was some sort of water/pipe damage on the ceiling causing the molding to fall off. But, it was clean just needed some repairs. We actually enjoyed the breakfast. They had fruit, yogurt, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, cereal, oatmeal. Pleasantly surprised. Oh, the room was super affordable, too, so we are very happy with our stay. We would recommend this hotel for anybody with kids and/or dogs.

I haven’t stayed at a La Quinta in years, and this one blew me away! So nice, clean, new, super comfy bed. No specific pet area but “as long as you scoop anywhere is fine” was what I was told. Very nice visit.

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Fremont, CA. The room was decent with two double beds. The bathroom setup is a bit odd with a double-door entrance that has a swing lock to lock it from inside. The swing lock makes a loud metal noise when you swing it. The toilet also flushes very loudly with a metal sound. Normally this would not be a problem for us but at night when others are sleeping, this could disturb their sleep.
The plus side is that we were pleasantly surprised by the good quality of breakfast that was included in the room rate. There were both hot and cold dishes and even a waffle maker to make your very own freshly made waffles for breakfast! We brought our two dogs (small and medium size} and they did well. It would be ideal if they could assign all dog-friendly rooms on the ground floor to allow quick access for their outdoor needs but we managed OK being assigned a room on the third floor. All in all, this was a great value for us for the two nights we stayed. We will definitely come back.
