    The Inn on the Lake Ascend Hotel Collection is nestled among five acres of park land on the edge of Lake Thomas ideally located as a touring base. We are conveniently located 8 miles from the airport and the cities of Halifax and Dartmouth. Our gardens white sand beach gazebos formal dining room and luxurious suites with king size beds and Jacuzzi tubs are a favorite of those yearning for romance. Guests are invited to use our free shuttle bus service to and from the airport complimentary parking and unlimited use of our recreational facilities. The inn specializes in small meetings conferences weddings banquets and special occasion functions.

      Pricey but nice

      Location is near major highway but the room was quiet. The dog friendly rooms have direct access to outside. There is an (only ok) on-site restaurant. The best thing is the park area next to the lake, just a few steps from the rooms, with room to play and explore the lake edge.
