We went on a 2 week road trip and this hotel was one the the few that was truly dog friendly. Others tolerated dogs, but you could tell with all the extra rules and fees they really didn't want your dogs there. No fees and you can leave your pup in the room alone. We had a wonderful stay, staff was so friendly and sweet to our puppy.

I never received confirmation of booking or anything. So their website must not be working. Had to make a reservation somewhere else.

Especially liked being located so that I could get fairly easily downtown, and to Peggy’s cove, and to wine country. Lots of restaurants and a dog park nearby.

Picked this hotel to stay in while visiting Nova Scotia, Canada. Enjoyed our stay here with our Australian Shepherd, all the staff greeted him. All guests loved seeing him when we came in thru the lobby. Only downside was restaurant closed early. Beautiful hotel, room was spacious and clean, Loki our Aussie loved the king size bed.

Nice hôtel but you can’t eat with your at the restaurant. There is a Starbucks just beside. Green area not that much but pleasant park 15 min away.

Future Inn Halifax is located in the shopping district in the West of the City. About a 15 min drive to downtown, it is a very dog friendly hotel with a green area to walk the dogs, treats for the dogs, and no pet fee. Highly recommended for those travelling to Halifax and looking for a pet friendly hotel.

Safe Stay: Future Inns Halifax has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Cashless payment is available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
