  Great Location & Price

  I stayed here on the way up the coast and again on the way back. Staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful. Rooms were very clean and looked to be recently renovated. Located on a corner right across from the stairs leading down to the beach. As a single female traveling with my dog, I felt safe at all times. Quiet too!

  Old motel, rooms are just okay. Nothing special. Bathroom was tiny & floor tiles were all cracked. Place needed a deep cleaning.

  Upgrade offered

  Dogs are welcome in all rooms here. We had really obnoxious neighbors the first night and the manager offered us an upgrade to an ocean view room, no extra charge. You need to ask for more towels and pillows, but staff is very accommodating once asked. I like that they check in to see how everything is via text during the stay.

  Gross, dingy, room and location. Walking to the beach and downtown were the only plus. Won’t stay here again.

  The location of the hotel was good for accessing the beach, but only if you and your dog can go up and down a lot of stairs. Our dog is older with arthritis, so we weren’t able to take her onto the beach. There is a small patch of grass for dogs yo potty on but it is not enough if your dog needs to walk to properly potty. The neighborhood doesn’t have much grass either. The room was dog-friendly with clean floors (laminate paneling) that weren’t slippery. The doors open to the outside so you have to be cautious that your dog doesn’t run out when going in and out.

  Next to the beach

  Start with the no pet fee, add the dog treat, add the grassy area with poop bags and easy access to the beach and you have a winning combination. Did I mention close to the pier? Nice spot and dog friendly place.

  It’s a perfect hotel for animals and families. A bit old but still had everything we needed. The staff was awesome!

  We stayed in one of the pet rooms and we had a view of the ocean. Quiet and very clean. We loved the short walk to the beach. Contactless check-in and check-out was wonderful! We’d stay there again for sure!

  Access to the beach is just outside your door and from many rooms there is a very nice view. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean and the walk to downtown is an easy walk both on the beach or the street.

  Great Location but Paper Thin Walls!

  This hotel truly at the edge of the water...just a quick 5 minute walk across the parking lot and down the stairs and you’re in the sand. I could even see the water from my room. Also walking distance to the downtown area. Bringing down my rating is the noise. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything a above, below, and to both sides of your room. Thankfully, things quieted down at night, but it was quite loud at 7pm (Talking, music, TVs), and had I not been traveling with a baby and a dog, I would have packed up and driven the rest of the way home that night. Overall, good hotel for the price.

  Very difficult to sleep!

  There was a very noisy heater in the room which made an extreme amount of noise every time it came on. It had to come on frequently and we were unable to turn it off because there was only one thin blanket on the bed. The floor in the room was not carpeted so our dog had to sleep on a pretty hard surface even though I had brought his fleece blanket, it had no padding. Did enjoy the access to the beach, however.

  Easy Pet & Beach

  Pet room was clean on the first floor. Dog friendly area with dog friendly beach less than 200 yards from the room. Great, enjoyable stay! Friendly staff, very accommodating to requests. Nice fresh fruit and muffins at breakfast.

  Short walk to beach!

  Room was nice and clean. We even had a peek a boo view of the ocean. Our pup was welcomed with a milkbone. Great access to the beach!

  Perfect for our needs

  This property is located in a great location, close to the beach and town. Our room was a single story cottage, very accessible from the parking lot and located next to the swimming pool. There was a small grass area nearby for our dog.

  OK Place To Stay

  I am not happy that our room was not made up! We returned to the hotel after 2 PM and our room still hadn’t been done. Husband had been kayaking and I had been hiking with puppers and we wanted to take a nap, I’d been out since 6:30 AM! After our nap, we ran some errands, came back at 4 PM and the room still hadn’t been touched. Husband had to take the towels to the office to change them out. It IS a big deal because we we paid a lot for this room and that should be included in the price. Will not stay here again, prefer Lighthouse Suites which is also dog friendly.

  We stayed for a night at the Edgewater. Great location, literally just a flight of steps from the beach. We had a ground level room (no view - which we didn’t need). The room was great - king bed with wood floors (soooooo much better than icky carpet). Very friendly staff who also gave our pups a dog treat when we checked in. Walking distance to lots of dog friendly restaurants. We’d stay again (in room 141)!

  Perfect Stop

  We’re on a honeymoon road trip with our large GSD. This was the perfect stop, friendly staff, clean easily accessible rooms and the beach right out our door. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Highly recommend this place!!!
