    Catamaran Resort and Spa welcomes one dog up to 50 lbs or two dogs with a combined weight of 75lbs for an additional fee of $125 (for stays of 1 to 6 nights) and $250 (for longer stays). Well behaved dogs may be left unattended in the rooms. There are grassy areas for pet relief on the property. Sorry, cats and other pets are not accepted. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

      Activities and location

      Family activities, beautiful gardens with koi fish. Good place for relieving your dog. Right on Mission Bay boardwalk.

      Great Resort

      Very welcoming. There were other families with dogs and it was very dog friendly. A lot of grass areas and paths to walk my dog. For a resort and spa, they allowed for the dog to stay in the room alone which is great! We will revisit in the future.

      Great area

      The Catamaran is very dog friendly. Before COVID it was even more so but like every other business they are short employees. The hotel is a bit dated but still holds its charm. It’s also surrounded by many dog friendly restaurants and because of defunding the police and limited life guards, none are patrolling the beach to enforce the 9am-4pm restrictions of dogs… so it’s more fun. Until someone gets hurt, haha.

      Great location, lots of grass

      loved the room, location, and grassy areas. Doggie bag stations would be a welcome addition - not everyone was cleaning up after their pets.
