      Not so “pet friendly”

      If you are just staying overnight probably no big deal. But I was here for vacation and theme parks. When I checked in I was told pets may not be left unattended for any amount of time period or they will have them “removed.” Not really that friendly in my book and at time of this review that information is not posted on hotel's site. Customer service at BringFido was exceptional and got me a new booking in another hotel rapidly and with no trouble thankfully.

      Good value

      Good value motel not far from Old Town and Sunset Cliffs, but not exactly in a nice location. Security guards on premise make you feel more at ease. There is a long grass area in front of the back rooms (ground floor) for dogs to pee. Beds are a bit uncomfortable and bathroom is tiny. Place was very clean though. For the price, it was ok.

      Definitely recommend

      I would say more like a 4.75 but it’s only for the fact that the beds were a little odd. It was a mattress on a metal frame box spring (like what holds the mattress up in a baby crib) so it was a little noisy. But the service desk people were super nice and friendly. The shower was nice and hot with good pressure, pet relief area was adequately sized and well maintained, the rooms were easily accessible and I had two 50 lb dogs and a baby with me.
