      Perfect for doggie vacation!

      My husband booked this place before I knew about BringFido and saw the other review from years ago. However, I’m glad I didn’t see it because our stay worked out great! First, the rooms are very spacious - 575 sq ft suites with living room, bathroom, and kitchen. TONS of room for the two adults and our 30-lb shiba. Even a larger dog would have been more than comfortable. Having a fridge was fantastic to store food and drinks. We had none of the other complaints about cleanliness - there were a couple faint stains on the carpet but you could barely see them and no residual smells or other signs of poor maintenance.

      Second, the dog suites are on a wing on the first floor with plenty of accessible parking and a grassy relief area right outside so it was really easy to go in and out. The workout room and dining area with complimentary breakfast are right down the hall, so the suite was in a great location. The only thing that would make this suite more dog friendly is if it had a bathtub for washing fur babies after a day at the beach or dog park, but we managed with the human shower and it was fine. The overall location of this property is a little drive from downtown San Diego (about 15-20 min) but the rates are way cheaper, especially when it comes to parking. We paid $12/night instead of $40-$60 downtown!! Next time we come back to San Diego, we will definitely book this place again.
