The doggie package was so cute. My dog loved having a dog bed and the treats waiting in the room. The room was small but totally fine in San Francisco. Overall a great stay - except the location. If your dog needs ANY grass to do their business be wary. We could not find a patch for blocks, and did not feel safe walking around after dark trying to find out, dodging broken bottles and whatnot. We had to get our car out of the parking and drive him to a dark park 5 minutes away and then get up early to do the same thing.

The hotel is clean and beautiful. Didn't expect dog bed, foldable water bowl, poo bags and treats from the hotel. Have seen many other dog owners. Highly recommended.

Small rooms are typical for San Francisco but this place makes the most of it. Excellent pet/owner stay. Only wish there was a park closer. Dog "business" is challenging.

We had a wonderful stay here with our rescue pup! She can get nervous in new places but they were so friendly with her. Nice dog amenities (get the Pup Package!). Small room but still great value for the $$ for SF near Union Square! We will def be back when visiting SF!

We are venturing cross country from NC to LA with two of our miniature dachshunds. I saw reviews on this place and was quite impressed so decided we would give it a shot. From the get go, everyone was so nice and our dogs got their own doggie beds, bowls, treats and toys! Beds were comfortable and walking distance to many eateries. We definitely see ourselves coming back when we can stay a bit longer but if on the fence about this place I say Book it!

The staff were very accommodating for dogs. They offered a dog bed, dog treats and dog bowls. The hotel lobby is very beautiful with lots of lounging and chairs. It’s hard to find parking in this area of town but the hotel does offer parking for a fee. The area also is near downtown so there’s lots of action but the main doors of the hotel lock at night. I travelled alone with my dog but never felt unsafe. There’s always staff present to assist with anything. Your dog can either take the stairs or elevator here. I used both. Really beautiful rooms with the most comfortable comforters. They are on the smaller side but they met my needs. They also offer bike rental and have a lovely bar in the lobby. I would stay at another Stay Pineapple in the future!

Very welcoming! Treats at the front desk. Stylish, clean. You can leave your dog in the room if needed. Close to Union Square. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

We were excited to stay here after everything we saw online and the reviews, but when we arrived the staff was unfortunately not as friendly as others seemed to have experienced. When we got into our room it was quite small, we noticed that the amenities for our pets were not in the room, we had to call and request the items only to be told they were not available. There’s not a designated area to take pets to the bathroom, I was told by front desk staff to, “take them anywhere out on the sidewalk.” We do appreciate having a place to take our pets, however for the price, lack of amenities, and room size, we won’t be back.

We were able to check in early which was fantastic, but also had the option to hold my luggage had a room not been available yet. Within 10 mins of being checked in and in my room, they had a nice bed, bowls, treats, and a roll of poop bags delivered to the room. It was absolutely perfect. And although it’s something small, they always made sure to open the doors while I was going out with Bentley so we didn’t have to fight the door while taking him out. Everything was great.

Our two 100 pound hounds, Handsome Luke and Gentleman Jack, felt RIGHT at HOME here - hotel staff rode up in the elevator with em carrying their beds and individually wrapped treats, which they LOVED. Room had a COMFY king size bed - closet had a couple plush bath robes hanging in it, which WAS appreciated! Staff also had champagne on ice waiting in the room when we arrived - REALLY liked that. There’s no on-site parking, BUT there’s a dedicated unloading zone for the hotel outside the front doors - left the vehicle parked there while we went up to the room and got situated. Parking is available around the corner - about a stone's throw away. Took all of about FIVE minutes to drive in, pay the valet, and get back to the hotel. DEFINITELY beat my expectations!

So I was excited to stay here with my girlfriend and my dog. I choose them because they have a great dog package. The includes a dog bed, dog bowls, poop bags and some other things. We put in our reservation for the largest room and paid for the pup package. As soon as we checked in everything went wrong. They said our room has issues and gave another room which was smaller than what we paid for. They tried to fix it with a cheap bottle of wine and baby serving of 4 small chocolates. The WORST PART was that we never got the Pup package amenities. Not even the simple poop bag (we brought that). We didn’t bring a dog bed or bowls because we assumed since we paid for it we would get at least the bowls to feed our dog. All they kept saying this has never happened. You should know how many people bring a dog because you paid for those amenities. We got a the refund after arguing for 30 mins. We had to drive around to find a place to buy bowls and a dog bed. Be careful on staying here especially if you have a dog. Call 10 times before you go to insure they have what you paid for. O and the $ 10 credit for food is worthless. You can get all those things at CVS for $4.

Our pup was greeted by the nicest woman working at the front desk. She was so sweet and immediately gave him a cookie. The staff here were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would agree with other reviews that the rooms are smaller than average but we didn't see an issue with it. Street parking only or you can pay for a garage. Definitely recommend it.
