      Warning on Pet Fee

      We were charged $150 nonrefundable fee for one night for our Cocker Spaniel. The prior Marriott Courtyard I stayed at in Mountview California the night before charged us $75 and it was a much nicer hotel. The room we got at the San Luis Obispo was okay but the toilet ran unless you juggled the handle and the back door security lock near our room didn't lock providing no security at the back of the hotel.

      Convenient

      Quiet location with designated lawn areas for the dogs to do their business outside every entrance. Other than that, no special treatment for pets, but we weren’t looking for that anyway. Tons of dog-friendly places to go in the area.
