Hotel was an ok place to stay with the doggies for the price. Plenty of places for them to do their business. A little noisy at times especially in the middle of the night. But breakfast was decent if you get it included. Bar was fine. Pool was nice. There were some questionable guests and activity, but then again that happens at any hotel and we were in the middle of Santa Maria. Air conditioning was not 100% strong. Camron at the front desk was so nice and accommodating.

We and our fur baby were very happy with the stay at Holiday Inn. The people were friendly and offered any assistance we could want. BUT, there was a mixup at check in. When we arrived, they were unaware we wanted a pet room! They quickly accommodated that need. Yet, the hotel had billed my credit card for the room price in addition to pre-billing the pet fee. Luckily, I had received a text from my card company telling me that Holiday Inn had already billed my card for both the room and the pet fee.
BringFido had said I would pay the pet fee upon arriving, but since it had already been billed, I had to show the text about having been billed to the person that was taking care of checking me in. It took a little while, but he eventually found the payment record and apologized profusely for attempting to charge me again at check in. Overall, they were very nice, but I am glad I had some proof of advance payment. The gentleman said this was the first he had heard of BringFido. Anyway, it all worked out. I would have rated them 5 bones except for the confusion at check in.

The room was a little dilapidated but it was quiet. The staff was lovely and there was lots of grass for walking the dogs.

Only issue was the front desk did not get the message I was bringing dogs. It was not a problem getting them to change us to pet friendly room. It was a large room, close to a side door.

Great dog park 15 minutes away with grassy areas nearby. Carpet and furniture was definitely dog friendly. Nothing fancy here but perfect for our dogs.
