The positives: Terrific location to downtown Solvang. Cute property, both outside and inside. Nice breakfast with attentive staff. The negatives: Our room was quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be and did not look like the photos on the website. It was also very stuffy and none of the windows open. There was an a/c unit so that helped. The front desk did not have any cash on hand to allow me to break a larger bill so I could tip supporting staff. I would definitely stay here again, but would be more aware of which room I would book.

We had a fantastic stay at the Wine Valley Inn. They are wonderful and very accommodating for travelers with dogs. The main building has a wonderful room with a fireplace and lots of sofas and chairs - dogs allowed! We stayed in a king loft room, and the living area was very dog friendly with a tiled area (for food and water) and a carpeted area for hanging out. The area under the stairs was perfect for our dog's bed and we were able to wall it off with a quilt we brought from home. Would definitely stay there again!

Wine Valley Inn and Cottages welcomed my cat and my sister's dog. We had a Tower double queen room and loved it. It felt very special and featured high ceilings and a fireplace. Good central location but off the main road. We walked everywhere. Beautiful gardens too. Will be back!

We have stayed at Wine Valley Inn multiple times since they are dog friendly. We now have 2 Greyhounds and need to ask for a bigger room next visit. It was our fault for not asking the size first, we just wanted the bottom floor. Anyway- good location in town. You can take your fur babies to potty pretty close to the Inn. Unfortunately all wine tasting was closed this trip due to COVID. We planned hikes with the dogs & enjoyed getting out.
