The Forest Suites are perfect for your family and your dog. There was a dog area and totally dog friendly. Also the location of resort was close to everything. Definitely walking distance.
Great central location and plenty of room for dog walks. The nightly pet fee was excessive for a multiple day stay considering the room was not properly cleaned of pet hair from prior guests.
The hotel was really close to a lot of places which was nice. We did have to carry everything up two flights of stairs which was a hassle. Additionally, the A/C was broken when we got into our room. They came up and fixed it fast but because it was in the sink unit, the sink and counters were hot to the touch and items that were left on it started to melt. There was a nice little dog park, but one of the doors around the corner was broken and my dog almost ran out before I caught it. I would probably look to stay somewhere else next time.
We took our 2 dogs with us for long weekend in Lake Tahoe! This hotel was very welcoming and even gave us little dog bowl and treats! We stayed in 2 bedroom suite - little outdated but was plenty of space for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. There was a small outdoor dog area behind our building and the surrounding areas are very dog friendly.
