  When we got there, the very nice lady at the front desk, Courtney, was telling me about her dogs and wanted to say hi to mine which immediately made me feel like I was in the right place :) My dogs loved her and the rest of the staff. We had a beautiful room with a great view, the bed was comfy and the pups had a wonderful first hotel stay experience. Plenty of grass to walk your dog with dog areas and bags too. :)

  The staff and establishment made every effort to make our pup’s stay welcoming: there was a jar of biscuits at the check in counter; pick up bag dispensers throughout the property; and a pup lawn for a walk. Well done.

  Very nice hotel

  The hotel is very nice with rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable. Lots of space to walk dogs, with doggy bags provided if you don't have your own. Dog biscuits at the front desk. Very good free breakfast and free coffee in the lobby all day. Room has fridge and microwave which came in useful. You can also purchase from a small selection of frozen dinners and ice cream if you don't want to go out.

  I had an ok overall experience. The room had some smells. There was a good location to take dogs potty. It was conveniently located to the highway and restaurants.

  Ok, but not really pet friendly

  Room was fine, but not a lot of area to walk dogs. And I think the $30 "pet cleaning fee" is too high.

  Best La Quinta Ever

  This is the best La Quinta hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was clean and the amenities were much like a premier hotel. Great pool area if you’re interested. Grassy areas in front and back of hotel with no poop left behind from other dogs. Great breakfast that included bacon, eggs, home fries, bagels, muffins and yogurt and of course coffee and juices. Great location. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

  Clean, Modern, Dog Friendly

  We stayed on the first floor which is totally accessible to the car and a place for the dog to play catch with. The pool is off the back on a nice private grassy knoll. Maids asked us right away if we wanted service in the am. We didn't even have to put in a request. Convenient to the HWY and next to lots of food and shopping.

  Big dog friendly and reasonable pet fee

  We drove with our two golden retrievers and booked a one bedroom suite for the extra room. It was very good. The fragrance from the cleaners was a little strong, something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to fragrance.

  Loved how welcoming they were of our boy, Paisley. They had biscuits at the front desk, individually wrapped! The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, people were friendly.

  The hotel staff was nice and the location was convenient for us to stop. There were several rooms of dogs that were all in a row. This did make it somewhat difficult for taking dogs in and out. It felt a little stressful for the dogs with strange other dogs going by the rooms. The dogs next door to us barked every time. The furniture in our room definitely looked like it was used by many dogs, which was a little disappointing (but not something I would ding them for, just managing expectations). They did have a good little dog area by the pool in the back of the property which was very convenient!

  Easy access from freeway. Plenty of restaurants and other services in the immediate area. Lots of safe areas to walk the dogs. Clean rooms and breakfast in the morning. We will return again.

  A well-appointed, dog friendly hotel!

  My wife and I (and our pup) were VERY pleasantly surprised by this location overall. The hotel was clean and well-stocked, the rooms were a good size for the price, and the property itself was clearly setup to accommodate travelers who need to bring their dog with them. We'll happily stay here again in the future.

  Everything was clean and fresh. Puppy enjoyed sitting outside on the lovely the pool deck with papa while mama took in a hot tub after driving for hours. 5 bones!

  Clean & Convenient Hotel

  Morning and afternoon staff were friendly and helpful. Got a room on the first floor next to the elevator equipment room. Any noise from there wasn't noticeable in the room. The room itself did have minor blemishes from high use as a hotel room, but nothing worth complaining about and was overall clean and functional. No strange smells (smelled like a normal clean hotel room), and the AC worked well. Dining room was closed due to Covid, so be aware. Wasn't an issue for us. Plenty of grassy areas around the hotel to walk our dog. Location was excellent. Near entrance/exit to I5, and Dennys/McDonalds/other restaurants down the street. Didn't hear the freeway from our room, but we were in the back of the hotel. If highway noise is a concern, avoiding rooms on the front of the hotel would be recommended. Overall, a good place to stay.

  The Bringfido App, makes it so much easier to locate pet friendly locations like La Quinta Inn. This hotel, the staff members were very kind and made sure our stay was comfortable. The rooms very clean. The breakfast bag, they give out was tasty with our coffee and an apple to give to our two little dogs.

  BEWARE!!!

  We reserved a suite room, two weeks in advance, because if the great reviews this hotel received on BringFido. We have two large labs and wanted to make sure our room was spacious. While we waited in line to check-in, our room was given to another customer in line, who also had two dogs. The clerk said they would give us a similar room on the second floor. Our new room was a standard size hotel room, not a suite, and inadequate for two adults and two labs. After much discussion, our original room was given back to us, after the staff had to clean the room. The entire process took over two hours to resolve not to mention this happened late at night after a long day of driving. The grounds around the hotel are great for relieving pets but we won’t stay there again. There is a Marriott Residence Inn down the street where all rooms are suites with kitchenettes and sitting areas, which should be more spacious. We’ll book there next time!

  Perfect Stop!

  We had an AWESOME experience. Massive rooms with plenty of play space for our 3 (yes, 3) pups. We were saddened to be put on the 2nd floor but it’s the holidays so we can’t complain too much. There’s an awesome but slightly hidden grass area behind the pool which is perfect for unleashing your furry friends to do their business without threat of cars or random people. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay again on future trips.

  Nice hotel

  Stayed here on a road trip from WA to AZ and it was s nice hotel. The grounds were very conducive for dogs and the breakfast was good. Only compliant is that the AC didn't work very well and so the room was hot and the dogs weren't comfy.

  Best Dog Friendly Amenities In CA

  Beautifully and thoughtfully designed hotel for the dog owner and the hotel grounds were absolutely immaculate. Front desk was very unaccommodating, short and completely unhelpful ...but the hotel was so wonderful in every other way you won’t care at all. Pool is gorgeous. Grass is so lovely.
