      Not Very Dog Friendly

      We made reservations at this hotel because it is supposedly dog friendly. Allowing dogs does not make you dog friendly. Rooms for dogs must be accessible and dogs need a safe space to walk and do their business. This property offers neither. The upstairs room at the top of a long steep staircase could not be navigated by my 11 year old lab. The park behind the property is not easily accessible and I would not feel safe walking there at night or early in the morning. I didn’t feel comfortable even in broad daylight. We had to pay for one night even though we did not stay.

      Nothing special. The room was clean. Most places around the motel were vacant.

      Great Stay

      This was a great find and a good price. This motel was built in the 1950’s, but has been beautifully updated and you can’t beat the location. We walked to dinner with our dogs and enjoyed the park right behind the motel. Will definitely stay here again!
