La Maison du Bouchonnier
The holiday cottage "La maison du bouchonnier" is located in the center of Mézin. The price indicated is valid for 2 to 4 adults maximum, the old house of Master (of the 19th century) has its own entrance. In winter from November until April only available for stays of 4 weeks at an all-inclusive price valid for 2 persons. All inclusive means: Central Heating, electricity, bed linen, bath and kitchen. Cleaning the departure. Possibility of a cleaning lady at your expense. I live in the terraced house the old factory of corks and I am of Dutch origin, I speak French, Dutch, English. The stone house is naturally cool in summer. Living room with fireplace, library - TV and DVD, 3 bedrooms, two bedrooms with double bed and one bedroom with twin beds for children up to 15 years, on request you can add a cot and cot, a kitchen equipped, a shower room and wc, laundry room, a terrace and a garden. There are 2 bicycles (4 speeds) available. In the pleasant little town Mézin there are 2 superettes, a very good butcher, caterer, pharmacist, ATM, bakers. You can start your day with a baguette and croissants as stores including bakers are already open from 7:30 in the morning. The open air municipal swimming pool open from June to September is heated at 26C hours 14h to 20h adult entry 2 € book of 10 entries, the pool is 150 m from the house. There is a tennis court, equestrian center, a river La Gélise, fishing. Golf 17 km. Hiking paths from the house. We are here on the edge of the forests of the Landes which protect the climate favorably and on the edge of the Gers, Fourcès is 6 km. Condom in Gers is 15 km and Nerac in the Lot-et-Garonne 12 km. In these two cities there are supermarkets. Sunday and Thursday morning there is a market and a gourmet Mezin Monday evening market in the summer and every day in cities around. The country of Albret is known for its quality of life, regional products, Armagnac, Floc, wine and numerous are the areas and farm to visit and you can taste before you buy. There are very good restaurants at very affordable price. Here you are in the country to live and know-how. Gastronomy, wine, Armagnac. The Bastides. Museums and exhibitions. Cirduits of touring on foot or bicycle. The nearest golf course is the Golf d'Albret Barbaste 15 km from Mézin. Castle with interesting exhibitions and museums. 2 Walibi, Ludoparc, acrobatic course in Cauderou, pony or horse rides, lakes like Lake Clarens in Casteljaloux or near Condom and Gondrin, Summer concerts at the vineyard Sunday lunch or dinner. The baths, the lake Uby and casino Barbothan or Casteljaloux and Lectoure thermal baths. You find all this and other outing ideas in the documentation binders in the house and are kept up to date.
