      Great stay!

      All the front desk staff were extremely friendly. I wish I'd gotten names in addition to Ellen, but she was so amazing that I have to mention her specifically. Our big Golden Retriever goofball was welcome and we were able to take him conveniently out the side/back door to potty and back in w/o any problems at all. Since we used to live in the area, we knew special local doggie walks/hikes are very nearby - an added bonus. Our dog doesn't bark in hotels and, although I saw other dogs in the hotel AND we were very close to HWY 36, our room was very quiet - didn't hear doggies or highway noise at night. The breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts - do-it-yourself waffles, fresh bagels and muffins, scrambled eggs and oatmeal. Not a huge selection, but fresh and a little different each day. Warm CC cookies up front in the evening - nice little touch!
