Emily at the front desk was probably the most helpful & friendly person I have encountered in my travels. She really loves animals. Wish the rooms had tile or wood floors instead of carpet.

This hotel cost us almost $200 (it is Steamboat Springs in the summer though) for one night and the room was dated & tiny, bed was horrible, and the wall the bed was on had a hall with stairs on the other side so we heard people going up and down the stairs pretty late. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful with suggestions (great hike suggested to a waterfall) and remembered our boy's name! The location is easy walking access to restaurants with patios, very dog friendly town.

Staff was wonderful but the hotel is outdated. No pet area so be prepared to walk. This was hard as we had been on the road all day. Would have preferred a room on ground floor. No breakfast. Room was just ok and we had ants in the bathroom..

The staff at the Nordic Lodge were all very friendly and offered treats for my dog. The hotel is in a perfect location in downtown Steamboat Springs. There is no grass on the property but just down the alley were plenty of grassy spots for the pooch.

Love the location of the Nordic Lodge - so easy to walk everywhere! Big room, comfortable, and dog friendly. Just didn't find a "green space" to let my dog pee and/or poop. But was walking distance to a nice park!

Comfortable rooms, good continental breakfast, extremely friendly staff. A great place for the pup, walking distance from 2-3 parks and no size limit. We will definitely return!!
