Comfy clean rooms! The pet rooms in a hotel are usually in bad shape, but these are nicely appointed and well-maintained. Nice walk area with dog bag dispensers and cans. Zander’s favorite part is the bottomless dog treat bowls after the walk!

No heat all evening. Thermostat kept starting and stopping all evening. I got up a minimum of 7 times trying to get it to stay activated. Tried to switch rooms. Endured by freezing all evening. Very disappointed!!!

Our dog was treated well. Treats, nice outdoor area. However, the breakfast options were awful. Food was tasteless, lack of selection was sad. Waffles were frozen you had to toast. For the amount of the nightly rate, you would expect much more better breakfast food. My husband got food poisoning from the banana muffin. Rooms were clean and the beds were amazing.

We loved this place! It was absolutely spotless, and so roomy and comfortable! Quiet too and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They even had a couple of treat bowls by the exit for our puppy. Will definitely stay here again next time we go through Trinidad.

The La Quinta at Trinidad CO was easy to access after a long day's drive. The interior was attractive and staff welcoming. The room was clean and well appointed. There was plenty of space outside to walk my dog and stretch my legs. I will definitely return.

Trinidad is of course a popular place to stay overnight. Hotel was fully booked the night we stayed. Room and common spaces were fine. Two outdoor areas for dog walks. Had to park in overflow parking but my car and contents were unmolested. This La Quinta did not trust me to dish out my own breakfast but instead supplied me with a ticket so a server could do that and also ask for a tip. My dog did well. Overall an OK experience - just passing through for 1 night.

Had nice rooms. We only stayed there to sleep between travel days. Would have given 5 bones, but when we got to our room there was dog food on the ground from the people that stayed there the night before.

This place was a nice surprise & perfect for dog owners. Very clean modern rooms. Nice dog area with good lighting & poop bags & disposal bin. And dog cookies at the dog door to the dog area. Great for people too. Good breakfast with more choices than than the usual fare. I will be stopping here again.

GO HERE. Dog cookies by the door, beautiful walking area for my dog, delicious hot breakfast including beans and 3 different salsas!!!, Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. And it cost less than the negative bone review place I stayed at in CA. And so cleaaaaaaaaan and quiet. 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

From the moment we walked in we were impressed by how clean it is here. The check in was easy and fast. They placed us in a room near the exit for the dog area outside. There is a small enclosed area with concrete but also a large open grass area. Poop bags provided and treats by the door. Would definitely recommend you stay here. Also within walking distance to Walmart.

We needed a stopover hotel for our annual summer trek with two dogs. La Quinta Trinidad CO was fabulous. We will return every year. They have two grassy dog areas and are so accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond, storing our cooler ice packs overnight for us. And we ordered in from Bomb Pizza, delivered straight to our room, and it was the bomb. Truly the easiest and most pleasant stopover we have ever had in 10 years. Highly recommend.

We had a good night here: Friendly staff, very clean ground floor room right near the dog walk area door. Lots of people traffic outside our door, which rattled our dogs a bit, but we’re still working on hotel skills with them. Highly recommend this hotel!

I booked the room a few days ahead of time and was so glad I did! The hotel was completely booked! The front desk attendant called me to make sure I was still coming, which I thought was so nice! We got a room on the first floor right by an exit which conveniently had a little path and dog area!

The hotel was tucked off of the interstate between a Walmart and tire shop. At first glance you think it’s not a great location. But it was very quiet and offered ample walking space for the dog. Allowed my 110 lb boy without raising an eyebrow. We were placed in a 1st floor room next to side exit. Room was spacious and clean.

LaQuinta in Trinidad, CO was a great dog friendly hotel. Very clean and updated. Room was large which gave our 2 dogs plenty of space. Very close to Interstate and a great Mexican restaurant nearby that delivers to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

We've been coming to this hotel for the last 3 years with our pets as we drive through. Clean comfortable and it's a great place to get some rest while we travel. Our dogs especially appreciate the treats around the hotel which lets us know as owners that they are always welcomed!

Nice hotel, friendly staff. They have a large area to walk your dogs plus a dish of dog biscuits by the back door. Very nice breakfast plus they have a sandwich shop onsite. Reasonable pet fee and nice clean grounds. We will be back!
