Winter Park Mountain Lodge welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Both dogs and cats are permitted, and well-behaved pets may be left in the room unattended. Dog treats and waste bags are available at the front desk. There are grassy areas on the property as well as a forest nearby. Pros: as dog-friendly as they advertise, great location, clean, and helpful/friendly staff. And the biggest hot tubs I’ve ever seen! Cons: okay I don’t know if this was just us or the norm, but our bed had been made with only a top sheet (no fitted) and had a quilted mattress topper that was too small so we had to remake our bed multiple times because the corners kept popping up. Also the shower sounded like a dying animal. But overall still a pleasant experience.
Great experience with the staff and I felt very comfortable bringing my dog. I will visit again. The location was perfect right across the street from Winter Park Ski Resort.
This is definitely a 3 bone hotel. But it had everything we needed. It was amazingly convenient to the slopes across the road with a shuttle every 20 minutes to the lift base. They rent skis/boards in the lobby of this place, and plenty of space to walk the dogs. Everyone was kind and helpful, welcoming and chill. As well there is a snowmobile adventure company on property. So there’s something for everyone. I would stay here with my dogs again. Grateful to have prime location access that allows dogs!
This lodge was very pleasant. There’s a decent amount of grass outside to walk your dog. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff welcomed my dog and gave him lots of pets. Don’t have any complaints!
Grubby says it all. Badly worn and stained carpet. Upholstery on chairs ripped. Hole in blankets. Synthetic bedding that felt like covering up with plastic. Small room. No comfortable seating.
We stayed here with our 4 year old cattle dog in the off-season. The staff was very dog friendly, there were treats and water at the front desk, and poo bag stations outside. The room we stayed in had great views and a fireplace. Our Bella enjoyed it and so did we!
