Hotel was clean, quiet and recently renovated. Staff friendly and helpful. Pet fee was $25. There are a few grassy areas, but if you have a reactive dog (especially car reactive), this isn't a great choice. It is on a main road with lots of traffic. The two official potty areas are tiny - largest grassy area is right along the main road.

We traveled from PA to walk Bear Mountain Reserve. We arrived around 11 and it was raining heavily. They let us check into a different room early. I have no idea what we would have done for 4 hours. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean.

Lovely town. clean and quiet location. Nice staff. Some renovations going on but will be temporary. Only complaint is breakfast foods, although delicious, were not kept warm. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel.

The staff and room were nice enough, but having to walk my dog outside around the trash-laden and limited dog-friendly perimeter of the hotel was disgusting. The front lawn looked OK but the natural area along the sides and back of the hotel was littered with trash. Ugh.
