  Had everything we needed

  They had last-minute availability, fast check-in, and friendly staff. The on-site restaurant was convenient, and there was enough grass for pup to take care of business. This hotel chain is a dependable option for dog-loving travelers.

  Super Dog Friendly

  All of the La Quinta team were great. Entryway had a tin of dog bones. Super cute and big (long) dog park for our 100+ lbs dog to run. VERY quiet. Only heard barking in the am. I expect it was because they could hear all of the door handles. Suite was very spacious. Would stay again.

  The staff was wonderful.

  All of the pets stayed on the same floor. The hallway had a faint smell, but that wasn’t unexpected. The room was bigger than expected and very clean. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. There’s a grassy section for your pup to go potty, but there were many areas where the owners didn’t clean up after their pets. ( It is not the staff’s job.)

  Tricky to find hotel entrance

  Staff was pleasant, other guests picked up after their pets. Check-in didn’t mention that there is a pet relief area next to the main building that is pretty nice; we found it by accident.

  Friendly staff, but some issues

  The staff at this hotel really seem to like dogs. The front desk person was proud to tell us about the on-site fenced dog park. When we took our dog to it, we immediately noticed that the far side gate was broken and wide open. My husband had to put the gate back on but was not able to fix it securely. There were no waste bags available, so they were piles of poop throughout the area. We let the front desk know, so hopefully the issues will be rectified soon. Our room was nice enough and the breakfast was good. However, there was a lot of noise from people talking in the hallway throughout the night, and it sounded like it was actually staff making some of the noise. We did not get a good night’s sleep.

  Dissatisfied with dog walking area

  Dog walking area was far from our room, poor lighting at night, dog bags overflowing at dog station. Empty beer bottles, late night hanging out in rear parking lot, felt unsafe.

  Good location

  Staff was super friendly and took care of us quickly. As we brought our kitty into the hotel one of the staff walked over to tell us how cute our kitty was, and to give her a scratch behind the ears. Nice touch.

  Nice Hotel, Great Staff!

  Edith, Mohammad, Christina, Kenny and more are the kindest, helpful people you will want to encounter as you travel. We ran into some personal issues relating to car problems, then a health emergency (All resolved ok, thankfully.) The staff were beyond kind and caring, helped extend our stay and acted like friends. The hotel itself is clean and we'll maintained. Improvements are even being added. If you are traveling in or through Danbury, CT be sure to stay here, and say hi to these great people. They will make you feel very welcome.

  Great space for dogs

  Loved the dog park and the spacious rooms. Our dogs are each about 60 lbs so it gets a bit cozy when the rooms are on the small side. The dog park that's accessible from the interior hall is a treat for the pups. The staff was accommodating, and the bagged breakfast we could grab on the go in the morning was a real help on our trip. Would stay here again!

  Perfect for a stopover

  It wasn't like an amazing experience or anything, but it did the job for 1 night on our way from MD to Salem, MA. Room was nice, clean. Lots of grass areas, they had a little 'dog park' in between the walls of the hotel which you could access from inside the hotel and they had tennis balls in a little bin which I thought was a nice touch. The fence for the dog park was white picket style so unfortunately my little dogs could've walked right out of it so I couldn't let them off leash, but still, cute feature. A little costly for what it was but we booked same day so that is probably why.

  I’m always so grateful to find a place to stay that accepts pets. That being said, if we didn’t have pets with us, I would not have stayed in this room! The carpets were stained the bathroom was gross.

  Lobby & staff nice. Grass areas for pet. Room borderline, our pet was sniffing all over the room and on the bed. Never did that in other rooms we a stayed in. Heavily scented. Would not stay again.

  Room was awesome. Very clean and quiet. Good mattress, super shower and front desk staff friendly. Lots of good places to eat close by. Outside needs lots of attention, but there is plenty of green space for walks and sniffs.

  Hotel in transition, but still great for road trip stops

  Huge hotel with parts seemingly under construction from or for a conference center. A couple of dog relief areas on the campus. Rooms are simple and clean and they assign dogs to convenient spots near exits.

  A welcome stau

  a welcome stay after a very long day on the road with the pooches. Clean and all the accommodations we needed. Nothing fancy, but good value.

  Nice, relatively inexpensive property.
  Clean, comfortable. Outback Steakhouse next door. Enjoyed my dinner that was brought over to the hotel for me. Will definitely book again.

  Great Place

  Everything was very clean. Not a great spot to walk dogs but my did ok. Rooms helped muffle distractions from hallway. Only complaint were the doors. They were tricky to open and loud when they closed
