My husband was told prior to check-in that dogs were allowed as long as they were under 40 pounds. When checking in, he was asked to sign a waiver stating the pet would not be left in the room by itself. I have stayed at many hotels that allow pets and have never encountered such a rule. The man at the front desk first thing this morning saw my husband, two kids and myself leaving and said, pretty rudely, “As a reminder, you signed a waiver stating you wouldn’t leave the pet in the room.” Yes , I did, but the beach, and many restaurants are not pet friendly, including the restaurant in the hotel, which wasn’t open when we were leaving at 7am. This is a complete joke and this should’ve been stated to us when we called three times prior to let them know our room would have a pet as well.

Location is good and easy to get to. McDonalds and Walgreens right across the street. Getting to the beach is a short 5 minute walk. The beach is wide, clean and lovely. We were able to see a space launch from the beach. Cleanliness is not as good. The rooms were clean, but the common areas
