My mother taught be that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything but if it helps someone out there, I have to share. First I want to say that we booked a ton here the day that we arrived so, in fairness, perhaps we got the room no one wanted. The gentleman behind the front desk was also very nice.
As for the room, it smelled like a wet dog was there before us and wasn't cleaned well. We also felt like we were getting bitten in the bed. The smell and the itchiness in the bed was so bad we couldn't sleep and we decided to cut our stay short, get up at 4:30, shower, and get on the road. When we loaded our car at 6am, we saw they put out the breakfast, which looked like all the other complimentary continental breakfast items you get free at most hotels so I grabbed my wife a banana and put a single bagel in the toaster.
It was then that a woman came out and pulled the sign out that said the breakfast was $11.95! I put the banana back but she wanted us to pay $11.95 for the hotel bagel I put in the toaster! I told her I didn't know and wasn't paying $12 for a bagel. So be warned, the breakfast is $11.95!! There is a IHOP across from the speedway so I recommend going there for breakfast. I never write reviews like this but it was a very tough night. We stayed at two other hotels through BringFido on the way home and both were excellent. This one was "Ruff."

Staff was friendly, room was clean, and there was plenty of grassy places for pups to potty. The room was very spacious and quiet. A quick 15 drive gets you to the beach, or a 5 minute walk gets you to the Speedway. If we are ever back in Daytona, this will be our first choice for hotels.
