The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort is located on 1500 landscaped acres by a 21-acre lake features several recreational activities and is approximately 17 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include Walt Disney World Resort approximately one mile away and Universal Studios located nine miles from the resort.Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the 45 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus as well as a golf academy. The onsite lake is perfect for kayaking sailing or sunbathing along the 1000-foot beach. The 24-hour outdoor pool also features waterfalls a waterslide volleyball and two whirlpools. A swimming supplies shop and a video arcade are also found near the pool. Sports fans will love the racquet club featuring 12 tennis courts two racquetball courts and a basketball course.

We stayed here for New Year's Eve weekend, Friday-Monday. Brought along all 3 of the pups and they absolutely loved it. Hotel is very pet friendly and extremely spacious. The grounds have PLENTY of greenery and walking areas for the pets without any restrictions. One of my pups was nervous on her first day and unfortunately had an accident on the hallway rug on our way down for our walk. Notified the front desk and they sent someone from housekeeping to clean up without any hesitation. Didn’t even ask me for my room number, excellent customer service.
They have a pet friendly floor, extremely clean. Rooms were big enough to accommodate pet beds and or crates/play pens. Rooms also do a great job cancelling outside noise like fireworks. If you’re planning on going to Disney, this resort is right outside the gates. Perfect location to head back from the parks for a quick walk before park hopping to your next Disney park. Restaurant/food options are great, you don’t even have to leave the resort. Cannot recommend this resort enough for your whole family, fur babies included, to enjoy!

Greatly enjoyed this high end resort. We were comfortable taking our dog through the lobby where he was always warmly greeted by name by the friendly staff. Rooms were large and nicely appointed. Located right outside the gates to Disney, the hotel provided four shuttles starting at 8:30 and four return shuttles starting at 6:00. The concierge also sold tickets to all nearby attractions that allow you to bypass the lines. The resort also has a golf course, beautiful swimming pools, fitness center, walking and equestrian trails and two great restaurants.
