  Beautiful Room

  The housekeeper outdid herself there were figures made from the towels in the bathroom and on the bed. The room was very nice, with office chair and table, large TV, modern lighting and power ports. The pool was right outside my door. I found a medical center less than a mile north for outside time, lots of grass and even ducks, like a park.

  Hotel has potential

  But needs some work. Staff was very nice, attentive and helpful I would give it a 5 for them. But the hotel needs work.

  Convenient to the highway

  Dirty, needs a complete overhaul. Awful pillows, rude, and put us on the third floor. AC didn’t work properly.

  Nice area and quiet

  The room was obviously very recently remodeled. The door was really tricky but we finally got in. Clean and well stocked with all the necessities. A nice area to the side of parking lot with potty supplies and real grass for the pups.

  Dirty

  This hotel was filthy! The room was not bad but, it smelled! The elevator floor looked looked like it had never been washed and the odor was horrid. The breakfast was undesirable! Either orange juice or apple juice was available! Frozen waffles, factory cut eggs, terrible!

  Very Dirty and Rundown

  The front desk staff at this hotel are fantastic. Both people I spoke to were super friendly and helpful. That is why I am giving this review 2 bones. Other than that, this hotel was awful. It was dirty and rundown. We could not walk barefoot in our room because our feet would turn black from the dirt on the floor. There was a large urine stain on the comforter and the room smelled horrible. There were cigarette butts on the ground everywhere. I will not stay there again.

  Nice staff, hotel needs work

  The staff was so nice, but the hotel is not up to par with other La Quinta hotels I stayed at. In their defense, they appear to be doing quite a bit of renovation work. The bed was comfortable, but the room was a bit run down. Fine for a night just passing through.

  This place was a DUMP for both dogs and people!

  The absolutely the worst, dirtiest place we ever stayed in my life. I can't understand why the health department hasn't shut it down.

  Rooms Need upgrades

  Bed sheets and comforters with stains. No grass for dogs.

  Room was meh

  The room smelled musty which I get, Florida is humid and there was carpeting that just hold that smell so well. I had to empty the dehumidifier which I only knew to do because I have one at home in my basement. The hotel was under construction and I definitely got a room not upgraded yet. Bed was ok(comfort wise), sheets were clean, it had a working refrigerator, and wifi worked well. It was nothing to write home about. I would not stay there again unless I had no better options or until maybe after the construction was done and the mustiness was gone with that carpeting.

  Never Again

  Locks on doors did not work, most of the time. Contruction going on in the room nextdoor. Floors were filthy. Dog walk area had a dumpster overflowing with garbage. I only gave one bone to have the chance to report the problems.

  Good location

  All was well. The room was great an clean. We were on the 3rd floor so an elevator would have been nice to know about at the beginning when we checked in.

  Don’t recommend!

  Dirty motel vibes and the front desk lady was not wearing a mask during check-in even though there are signs everywhere that everyone coming inside must wear a mask.

  Just what we needed

  At first glance I was unsure at first the floors were carpet (and was not pretty) but the beds were clean and comfortable and they had an excellent area for the dogs to walk that was shaded, open and away from heavy traffic flow on the west side of the building! We were on the second floor but they had elevators so it worked out great for us! very quiet and as titled.. just what we needed!

  Do not recommend La Quinta period.

  Room was not clean, door lock was broken. Inadequate supplies in room (toilet paper, cups, etc)
  Property/exterior was dingy, dirty, not safe.
  The staff however was very nice.

  Overpriced and subpar

  Nothing special to be said about this place. It wouldn't have been as bad if it was priced reasonably, but $125 for a dirty smelly room just doesn't cut it in my book. I ended up staying at a La Quinta in Miami the following night, which was half the price and twice as nice, including the staff.

  Stay away - not worth the money

  Musty, dirty, moldy exterior. Carpet stains, flexing tub. This place needs an overhaul

  Stained beds, dirty room. We didn’t even stay there more than 10 minutes. We left and stayed at a holiday inn across the street.

  Great Experience!

  Booked through BringFido to take my mastiff to Bayview Dog Beach. Reservation and checkin were smooth and flawless. Hotel was less than 15 min from the dog beach and plenty of restaurants close by!

  La Quinta Inn Pensacola

  Good room, and great that you can park right outside the door. Room is showing its age and the carpet was deeply stained, presumably from years of pets? Still a decent room and a good price.

  Good for a last minute stay

  The room was clean but could use a little updating. We stayed one night due to husband moving g for work. The front desk was extremely nice, especially with our late check in. They had easy access to w grassy area for my large dogs it other people did not pick up after there dogs even though two dog poop stations with bags and trash were available.

  Ok place

  They were not very accommodating to what we had asked for. Very old place, in bad need of updating (especially the locks on the doors). Wasn't the friendliest at the front desk. Will try another pet friendly hotel next visit to Pensacola.

  Convenient location and friendly

  Stayed here with our two large dogs multiple times with no issues. Friendly staff. Renovations are ongoing so the rooms definitely vary!

  La Quinta Pensacola FL

  Good price and no pet fees. Adequate in all regards. 20mins. to the beach. Lots of pet friendly spots and restaurants in the area.

  Bad Hotel

  This is an older LaQuinta Inn which is in need to upkeep and repairs. The bathroom was not clean, paint peeling from the walls. Very noisy clientele all night long and felt unsafe. One older guest fell in the parking lot and the staff was very slow and unhelpful to an injured guest. Will be hesitant to stay at another LaQuinta whether newer version or not.

  Fair but needs Improvement

  We went to this hotel to evacuate from Hurricane Dorian. Let me start that the staff was outstanding. Helpful and friendly but definitely not enough of them. The hotel itself looks very worn and dirty. The outside needs to be pressure wash or dare I suggest - painted! Doors on the north side of building were moldy looking. The carpets need to be cleaned. I know this is a pet friendly hotel but that doesn't mean it needs to be dirty. We have stayed at other pet friendly properties that were much better than this. I saw 2 maintenance so they have the staff. This could be a 3-4 bone property with just a little work. Doubt I would stay here again unless I had no other alternative.
