I am surprised that anyone gave this place a rating over 1-2 bones no matter how friendly the staff was to their pet. The outside areas were all filthy and most of the AC covers were broken with sections missing. The No Smoking on the premises policy appeared to be completely ignored by almost all, including the new manager. I will say that the interior of the room appeared fairly clean, but due to the outside condition it made us uneasy to sleep there. The ice machines were rusted, so we never trusted using any ice. The “breakfast bar” consisted of a couple urns of coffee, a waffle maker, some cereal, and yogurt. The apples in a basket had rotten sections on more than one. In general, I believe that some of the staff tried to keep up with their jobs, but the overall condition indicates a lack of caring by management and owners. We would NOT stay here again!

This property needs a complete renovation from top to bottom inside and out. Overpriced for the condition it's in. They double charged me for my dog. Meager breakfast offering. Will not go back.

We enjoyed our two day stay. This location is a convenient to 3 block walk to ocean hammock walkway which takes you directly to the ocean. Spikes was given treats at check in. The trolley comes every hour to take you to old town St. Augustine. There is a shopping center within walking distance for groceries and restaurants. Nothing fancy but very accommodating. There is also a pool to cool off after a day in the HOT Florida sun!

Giving one bone for hard surface dog friendly floor . Very dirty, small ,non smoking not enforced so you have smoking on all run ways to rooms. Cleaning staff very nice. I would NOT stay there again!

The hotel itself was less than just ok, the rooms are very dated, our bathtub shower didn’t work and the sink didn’t drain. The room was not very clean and the beds were old. This was a last minute booking, so we stayed, but left first thing in morning. The hotel needs work!

The staff upon check in was very nice and provided treat bags for our two dogs. We had to pay a $20 pet fee for each dog, but there were no restrictions on size of dogs. There is a small pet area for dogs to walk and potty with bags provided. The only downside to the stay was that it is an older hotel. Our room had a very strong mildew odor, and we both woke up stopped up. Other than that, it was okay.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and they treated us and our dog very well. There is a area out back for your pet to do their business. Also the beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel for pets.

This was my first stay at this quality Inn hotel and I was very pleased. The floors are tile made to look like wood and very clean. Michele at the front desk was super helpful and the breakfast staff was also very accommodating. The only suggestion I would make is some sort of outdoor shower or place to rent your dog after the beach. I will definitely return

I brought my husky with me on vacation, her first time to the beach!
Theres is a designated area behind the hotel to let your dog relieve themselves and doggy bags are also provided w a bin for disposal.
We had the suite so the pull out couch was awesome for my dog. Park in front w a beautiful walkway that leads straight to the beach. If you have an overactive dog, the walk there should tire them out a bit(it's not THAT long). Only reason i am not giving this place 5bones is because when we arrived, everything looked clean, except the shower, there was a bar of soap from the previous person and it had a hair on it, so being so late at night when we arrived, I went out and bought cleaning things myself and well cleaned the shower. Theybhave tile floors as well, if that helps some doggy parents out and they have an accident.Staff was super nice, great location, furry friends welcomed, great price for location. - AnnMar 9, 2018Great location, just a short walk from dog friendly beach
We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it! Specific toilet area for dogs with bags and receptacle which was all in good shape. Staff was friendly and left extra towels. Floors are non carpeted which makes for easy clean up of pup and beach sand. Dog friendly beach is a short walk away - we went most days. There is also ample sidewalk along A1A for a quick walk as well. Grocery store down the street for any supplies, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Will definitely be back!
