Quiet and friendly staff.

The location as perfect for visiting our daughter in St Petersburg. The check-in and check-out staff were very friendly and courteous. But, the building is older and in need of an update and some repairs. Not as clean as it should be. These hotels are known for being pet friendly but the pet relief area was terrible. A small, rear corner of the parking lot with dirty pine-needle service. No poop bags (we had our own so didn’t matter to us but might to others). Our little guy chose to potty on the pavement rather than use the area provided.

We had a positive experience at La Quinta, but there is very little grassy area to walk dogs. Other than that, no problems!

Clean, dog friendly, etc. My dog had an accident in the lobby and they were really kind about it. Not much area to walk your dog, but we didn’t spend much time at the hotel anyway.

Dog friendly but 2 problems: very, very little decent area for relief and on a very busy street. Parking is awful, very narrow spots & not enough of them. Do not plan to return.

We booked a room here after checking out of a hotel in St. Petersburg that we found unacceptable. We wanted a place in St. Pete, but nothing was available through BringFido in St. Pete. We were told this place was the closet hotel they could find to St. Pete. It was in fact right across the bridge in Tampa. Hotel and room were clean. Front desk staff was attentive. All in all it worked out fine. The rate was high but, it was a Holiday weekend. Only negative I noted was the dog walk area in back of the Hotel. If you have any type of Handicap or mobility issues it could present a problem for you. Basically, it's the drainage retention pond for the Hotel and parking lot. We stayed here during the dry season and the pond was dry. If you visit in the summer wetter months you might find little area actually available to walk your dog.

Just wish people would pick up their dogs poop! I have poop bags attached to the leash so not a problem. There were no poop bags at the provided poop trash station. Maybe people would pick up their dogs poop if the bags were available. Otherwise, no problems and staff were very helpful and courteous.
