    Casino adventure

Our dog enjoyed joining me on the casino floor along with other fellow dog owners. This made things much more enjoyable for me knowing my dog was by my side.

Yes, pet friendly, but absolutely no notice or special treat for my dog.

    Pretty good pet friendly place

First off, as most Hard Rock hotels, it's wonderful that they are pet friendly at all (we have 2 med size dogs). It's a large, busy hotel/casino in a downtown section so there aren't as many "green" areas as some other HRH's we've been to, but they do have designated pet rest area and there are some walkable areas around the property. Best bet for extended walks is to cross the street (busy) to the neighborhood next door and walk there.

We did not get the HR "Unleashed" program this time, although we had at other properties when booking through B.F. We were told it would be an additional $250 per pet (on top of the mandatory $100 pet fee). We passed.

The rooms were nice but we were on the 5th floor so had to elevator with dogs all the time. There are no ground floor rooms as the casino, shops, bar/rests are there. But no one seems to mind the dogs walking around with you, and several people had their dogs with them at slot machines, and they are welcome at most bars/rests (just ask). Which btw while the food/drinks are expensive, they are all top quality. Great variety of restaurants. Could use a nightclub/late night entertainment venue (other than the concert/show hall which does big-name events).

Had an issue with our room reservations that became a hassle, but in the end BF did what they could and made the situation right so can't complain. Just be aware that reservations made thru BF are "3rd party" (apparently booked under Expedia) so the hotel will not do anything to accommodate or resolve issues/changes.

Overall it was a good stay, but not sure I'd bring the dogs back with us here, but HRH's in general are good places for vacationing with pets. And we'll be a bit more careful when booking thru BF, but their service is outstanding (picked up the phone EVERYTIME we called).

Best option for concerts at the Amphetheatre

The rooms are nice. Easy check in but going through the smokey part of the casino in East tower was gross. Dangerous area to walk your pup with all the cars careening about.

    Pet Friendly

Ok, so we stayed and it was pet friendly. They give you a door tag to put in your room for when pet is left unattended. We ordered room service and they call you when they are outside to make sure pet is leashed or contained. Only downfall is that pet area is very far away from hotel. You have to walk thru the casino to get to it. Other than that, it was good. We would stay again.
