Prime location in DT Tampa on the Riverwalk. Also within walking distance to several green spaces for the dogs. The hotel reps were awesome -- friendly and attentive to both human and canines. The hotel lobby, restaurant and pool deck/bar are fab; my only real complaint was with the a/c in our room -- was not really able keep up with the summer heat & humidity. Hence 4 out of 5 bones.

Horrible experience, great employees. There was no A/C entire stay of our visit, the staff did everything they could to justify the situation. We ended up leaving the hotel and booked a Airbnb instead. If they had A/C we would rebook. The dog park is across the busy street which is a negative. The only pee area is artificial turf by the pool.

We stayed at the Sheraton for a concert at Amelie Arena. We were thrilled we could bring our Golden Retriever! The staff was exceptionally friendly and we had no issues whatsoever, we felt welcome with a large dog. There is a small public park on one side of the hotel which was perfect for going potty and the hotel is located along the paved Riverwalk path where there are always people jogging and walking dogs.

This hotel is SMACK-dab down town... you have to valet your car... for an additional $25. They didn't charge for the dog to stay which was good.. however, nobody mentioned that the "potty" area was behind the hotel and had "shady" characters looming at weird hours. I gave it a 3 bones because of these 'negatives'. The hotel was nice and clean. I have read reviews that said it was undergoing renovations, never had a problem. For the price, I would find some where else to stay next time.
