Relaxation in the olive grove and great excursions to the art cities of Umbria and South Tuscany.
The cloud is the name of this wonderful place with only five houses on the green hill on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The name is program: you want to switch off in your own olive grove in Tuoro on Lake Trasimeno? In the idyllic ambience under the pergola, read with a view of the Lake Trasimeno and dream into the day or with the glass of wine under the pergola into the night. Squirrels, little falcons, who learn how to fly? You have the whole house for the esclusive use.
These are also unique experiences for children. And in addition to this, I have kept the rustic ambience of former times in the small old farmhouse, but still paid attention to the necessary luxury: comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with coffee machine, thermos bottles, toaster, oven, freezer and in the house tips , where you can buy exzellent food or go to eat outside. The garden is fenced, but there are many walks around and you can also walk in the own olive grove and when the almonds or figs are ripe, pick the fruits.
The house is quiet. You are away from traffic, but in about 10 minutes in the bar, in the shops and the expressway, which leads to Perugia or Siena, is also only about 2 miles away.
In Tuoro you will find the typical bar in the Piazza, but to the Cappuccino to Cortona or Perugia it is only half an hour. Because, of course, the discovery of the rich culture in Umbria and Tuscany is part of a holiday in the Nuvola.
In half an hour you are in the medieval city of Perugia, in 40 minutes in Assisi, in about an hour in Siena, Arezzo, Gubbio, Spoleto, Orvieto. The train departs from Terontola, 7 miles away, to Rome, Florence or other beautiful towns. You are in 2,5 hours in Rome, and one hour in the center of Florence.
And then the whole family can grill a steak in a stone oven outside from the wonderful butcher in the village.
It is also good for children: My grandson simply stretches a string from tree to tree for volley ball. Suitable for seniors, who prefer to enjoy the peace in the rocking chair or on the couch after excursions.
If it's not too hot, it's a 30 minutes walking to go to the village. Or you can walk around Tuoro in the footsteps of Hannibal, who struck the Romans here. On the seaside of Tuoro, you can hire sun loungers and parasols, paddle or pedal boats, with which you can reach the Isola Maggiore. In July, Umbria Jazz offers the best concerts in Perugia, Trasimeno Blues is on the agenda in August, and the village hosts a number of wonderful dinners on the streets during the summer months, where you can easy get in touch with the people of Tuoro and guests from all over the world.
The village of Tuoro is just 2 miles away, the Lake Trasimeno about 3 miles.
Information about the house: two bedrooms with double bed, one bedroom with two beds, kitchen with gas stove, fireplace, fireplace, dishwasher, living room, toilet with small washbasin on the upper floor. Entrance and bathroom with washing machine, shower, toilet, bidet in the lower floor.
Suitable: because of the stairs not accessible for disabled person, for small children you have to take care of the stairs as well, but we can put a small paddling pool for them in the garden. Pets Allowed.

To pay on place: If you want the changing of linnens or towels during the staying we can organize that, Heating when necessary dipends on the consumption.
Perfect cleaning is for us always a priority but in time of Covid we do special desinfection
