Nice staff! That’s it! Dirty bathroom - actual detritus in every corner, sink had hair and dirt around the top. Ceiling had bad stains all over. Freezer needs defrosting. 2 double beds and one desk chair - no other sitting space. TV and door frames broken. Hallway smells like cigarette smoke. Room not too bad on smell but lingering. Deserves negative bones. Counting the hours until I can get on the road again.

I stayed here overnight when picking up a 8 week old puppy from a local breeder. The room you get if you have pets is HUGELY different than the photos suggest. We were in a bottom level room (which, with a dog, is convenient) that was hardly maintained. I was so concerned to even let the poor guy out of his carrier in fear that he might catch something. Thankfully, he is fine. If you are looking for somewhere that is cheap for a quick return flight, this will do but don't expect anything more than the bare minimum.

Typical hard laminate floors in the “pet rooms” to simplify cleaning pet messes. But, the floor appears to have never been washed, which they actually require. Dirt in every corner. I guess they think removing the rug means they don’t need to clean the floor. Door shabby, rusted at bottom, lock malfunctioning. Grout at tub & wall coming out, wall sconce light at bedside has inoperable switch.

The hotel is very worn looking and definitely no frills. When I checked in I was told that my reservation for a non smoking room couldn't be honored and that I'd have to take a smoking room as that's all they had left. What was the point of my reservation?

This was not at all like the pictures look, the staff was nice but otherwise there is nothing that would bring me back to this hotel.
The smell of the hotel is horrendous, it’s a mix of smoke and baby powder throughout the entire place.
The windows are not very secure on the front side ground floor. The windows didn’t lock but had a small metal “pole” to keep them “locked”. The hotel is in dire need of an update in every way. The “to go” breakfast is not a thing.
The location is near a huge outdoor mall and many good places to eat.
Fridge is not cold, the bathroom was not that clean. The bed is springy and the lights look like they were just secured to the wall with thumb tacks.Nice staff but nothing else was nice about the place unfortunately.

It was your basic Red Roof Inn. Nothing fancy and just the bare minimum as far as amenities go. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The bathroom was poorly stocked but it easy enough to get more towels ect. at the front desk. The room was conveniently located to the side door and a lot of grassy area for those traveling with dogs. It is a non-smoking room now but you could 100% tell that it was a smoking hall at one point. The second you walk in the door from the outside you can smell it in the walls and carpet. Luckily the rooms were a nice wood or faux wood floor so the smell is not obvious in the room. The staff was super friendly each time we had to interact with them. The check in and out process is easy. The location wasn't ideal if you plan to uber. During the day it was never less than $23 to downtown Savannah. At night, at the time all the bars were closing the waits were an hour long and the rides back were upwards of $60. I would spend a little on a room a little closer to the attractions next time we traveled.

If you are looking for luxury, this is t the place. But it was clean and there are dog-specific rooms. Ours was next to the side door on the first floor, which was fantastic. The staff was very nice.

So we stayed here right before Christmas, and it was very nice. They have done major renovations since those other reviews. The room has new wood laminate flooring and was very clean. There was a new whirlpool tub (if that’s your thing). The staff was friendly and it was pretty quiet considering it was completely full. We’d stay here with our pups again anytime.
