The inside of the hotel was fine, and comfortable though nothing fancy, as expected. The grass outside where you can walk your dog is full of trash! Every time we went out I was trying to direct my dog away from chicken bones, cigarettes, beer bottles and caps, a stray shoe, and all kinds of gross things. Your best bet is taking your dog to walk around in the area between the two hotels to make sure your dog doesn’t eat any mystery trash. The hotel staff also tried to yell through our window (looking into it at us) to tell us we were supposed to checkout. They had missed we were staying and I totally understand them missing that, but we were very weirded out that the man was looking into our room window to talk to us instead of knocking.

Meager accommodations at best. Floor was dirty and sticky. Door had 1/4” gap all around that let in light and mosquitoes. Frame of door had a chunk missing at the bottom big enough a rodent could have fit through. The tub was old, worn, stained and covered with some sort of scaly build up. The real topper was in the morning when I went to get a shower and it didn’t work! No water! At least the sink and toilet functioned. No hair dryer, 1 tiny bar of soap, no shampoo, no coffee maker.
At check out I offered feed back and asked for a discount or refund. I was told that wasn’t an option but they’d let me use another room to shower. Only instant coffee and coffee mate available in the morning.
Location was somewhat convenient. Be advised the only food in walking distance was fast food or gas station food. The attached Mexican restaurant was out of most foods other than beans and rice. The only positive is the Mexican restaurant has super friendly, dog loving servers, margaritas and decent tequila. - PhyllisJan 1, 2023Needs improvements
The room seemed clean enough but we noticed that the floor was sticky. The faucet was loose in the sink. Also the walls (ceiling!) are not well insulated. The dog upstairs was chasing a bone around and making a racket. We complained and it (mostly) stopped, but it was annoying.

I selected this hotel for its convenient location on our way to North Carolina. The room was super clean and the staff were very nice. Their computers were down at the time of my stay but they handled the situation very well. It was an overall pleasant experience and I will probably be staying there on my way back home.

After staying in close to Savannah and having a terrible hotel, this stay was way better we found that staying at red roof inn's we way better to bring our pug. Not top of the line hotels but if you have a pet you are traveling with they were the best we found for not having to pay a extra fee.
