The area around the hotel feels unsafe with questionable people loitering. I am sorry I picked this hotel over the other one only a few miles away. You get what you pay for.

Worst La Quinta we have stayed at. Avoid the elevator. Put us in a smoking room. Floors not vacuumed. Dirty towels in the stairwell. Exterior doors will not open with the key card.

We paid for a king sized bed and received a room with a full sized bed which was the least comfortable bed I’ve ever attempted to sleep in. Creepy men were loitering in the lobby and sexually harassed us as we walked in. We did not feel safe here, even with two big dogs. This was the worst hotel experience of my life and I would not recommend it to anyone. You would be better off sleeping in your car.

No pet fee was a big bonus of our stay with a 60 lb Labrador. It’s not a super nice hotel, but it was clean enough for the price.

The hotel was in shambles and they really didn't have any area that was designated or even appropriate to have a dog relieve itself. Our puppy wouldn't go anywhere on the property. Good thing we had somewhere else to go since we were visiting family where our pup felt comfortable to go. Also the room had carpet throughout and wasn't clean. I would not felt comfortable leaving my dog there alone, let alone staying there anymore than sleeping. The hotel has a condemned pool and the breakfast they say they offer is a joke, just a grab bag with literally granola bars, muffins, water and cookies. That's it. The lobby also smelled of urine. There were water stains in the ceiling abs what looked like mold in the bathroom.

Our room was very minimal; definitely not up to LQ standards. There was NO grassy places to walk your pet. Our room had one chair at the desk but no outlets to charge phones, etc.

Front desk staff were friendly but the room wasn’t clean. The floors weren’t properly vacuumed. My dog kept finding things to chew on. The refrigerator had crumbs on the top, so that means that it was never wiped down between customers. The bathroom appeared to have mold on the ceiling above the shower. The bathroom was missing some drywall and never repaired.

Our Chocolate Lab was taken very good care of and he loved sleeping in the big King sized bed. Brawny, the Lab, also loved the hard boiled eggs from the free continental breakfast. The no pet fee was a major plus. Nice clean rooms too. We have stayed there several times. The last time we stayed my fiancee lost her engagement ring in the room. We didn't realize it until we had left. It was turned in by housekeeping, and we got it back! Hard to find honest people these days.

Absolutely no grass near the hotel. Have to walk your dog well away from the motel to find any grass, and the area is not the safest. Look elsewhere!!

La Quinta is officially pet-friendly but this location puts forth little effort. There is a poop disposal canister at one extreme corner of the parking lot but not a blade of grass in sight, just a margin of pine needles and weed barrier tarps. Most of the area available for landscaping was instead covered in pumice-like rocks., The bag dispenser was empty but someone had helpfully left a roll of bags on the canister lid. Are they missing the little key that opens the box? The lobby and breakfast area were small and cramped, but I give the staff credit for keeping the food items well-supplied. No pet fee is the main consolation.
