Let’s face it, if you are staying at a Motel 6, you are road weary and have dogs. You aren’t a fussy client. This property is in rapid decay. There are long-term tenants feeding cat colonies. We came across a pile of cat food when walking and I saw cats hiding under cars. I pointed out to the manager that the bath door had been partially eaten by a previous guest, which was not visible unless the bathroom door was closed. Also, the shower curtain was pulled out of the wall, resting on two hanging screws. I mopped up the floor due to poor coverage by the shower curtain and found the floor hadn’t been mopped. I typically don’t worry about these things, but it is probably the worst motel six I ever stayed in (out of maybe 20). When I reported it, they tried to blame me, but my dogs were never left alone, and had not been in the bathroom.

It was ok...
I was traveling from the panhandle of Florida back home to Massachusetts, with one fairly quiet dog.....I wanted a room to drive up to, so they put be around back, where the hookers and drug dealers kept starting up Loud cars ALL NIGHT LONG.... I managed to sleep 3 hrs.
But as I lay in the bed(only one of the two beds was updated comfortably) from 6-10 am,
The lady who LIVES in the room next door with 3 dogs, and stuff outside the door, left her curtains open so the dogs were just barking at everything.
Pick the Quality Inn across the street!Place was partially updated, but still 1/2 falling apart and dirty!
The fridge/freezer worked well,
The floors were not carpet:)Trash and a bunch of cats living outside, so when I went to load my car in the morning rain, there were cats eating a bunch of cat food just thrown onto the sidewalk and looked like vomit 🤮
The clerk was receptive as I checked out and refunded some money back.
So all in all .
They need to do more updating before I would ever return there.
